Pop Up Box Cards

These are two of the pop up box cards I made late last year.  I didn't have a template for them but someone sent me one of these cards and I was able to see how it was made and made some myself.  I think the one directly above was the first one I made.  The mouse is made using the SU Christmas ornament punch.  I think I made his ears from a heart punch, and his paws were made from another SU punch.  The lady bugs are a die, possibly a Memory Box or Elizabeth Craft die.  Ditto with the bee's!  They are alot of fun to make and everyone I have given one to loves it!

Wedding Card

This was a quick Wedding card I made today for my physio I go to.  She was married recently.  I also made the envelope using my We R Memory Keepers Envelope Maker.  (I can't live without that thing!)  The card has tiny punched out flowers on it and each flower has a tiny stick on pearl in the centre. I also added a small touch of glitter to each flower.  I made the bow using the SU bow punch. I added some ribbon as well.
After I took the photo of the envelope I added a small pearl to the centre of the bow...and forgot to take another photo of it!

SU Baby Cards

I made thse cards recently using the Baby Bumblebee stamp from SU.  I also used their bow punch to make the paper bows.  The card with the bird on is an Elizabeth Craft die.  I hav done the inlay technique with the bird.  The white base card is kind of swirly instead of plain white.  Not sure where I got that from but I have it in various colours and it has a faint perfume.  It's one of my favourite types of card. kay, thanks for visiting, {HUGS} from me to YOU:-)

Thirsty Work!

It's hot thirsy work chasing mice!  "Romeo-Valentino" takes a break from chasing mice (toy ones!) and helps himself to a long cool drink...from the bathroom tap!  I just hope he didn't borrow my toothbrush while he was there!?

Bush Walk

I took these photo's while walking through the bush one day.  We have thousands of km's of bush walks around here, each track as amazing as the next, with views of both harbours from some tracks.
A very weird thing has happened when I uploaded the top photo to this blog...it turned itself around!  It should be flipped to the right.  I tried many times to re-upload it but each time it came up the wrong way.  I hve NO idea why!
I've been searching for my photo's of my cards I have made over the last five months, but I have not been able to locate the right cd they are on.  It may take awhile as I have heaps of cd's with my photo's on!

Meet My Neighbour!

This is my neighbour.  I have been feeding him since last winter.  I first noticed him eating some crusty old bread I had given the birds.  I thought he was a stray becuse he was eating the bread, so I offered him some cat food.  (I have two cats of my own)  Since then he comes morning and night for food.  He often sleeps on my back porch, or in the garden if it is sunny.  He is very friendly and loves a pat and a cuddle.  He rolls on the grass and chases the odd buttefly that passes his way. I called him "Bobbie".
This went on for months until I finally decided to leave a note in a neighbours letter box asking if he was theirs.  I left my phone number and details.  Awhile later I got a phone call from "Bobbies" owner.  Yes!  He did belong to her!  She had seen him on my lawn sometimes but did not know he was being fed here.  She said his name was "Tiny".  I told her I had called him "Bobbie".  We chatted on and I told her he was welcome here any time and I was happy to continue feeding him. I told her to call me if she couldn't find him.  My two cats don't mind him and they often play together.

Full Moon

These are two shots I took one night of the moon rising up over the horizon.  It looked way better IRL than these photo's - I hate that!
It was kind of a frosty night and the moon looked almost spooky as it rose up over the tree's.  I felt like I should be in some kind of horror/suspense movie!  (Or maybe I was just having a 'senior moment?!')
Have a great weekend and thanks for visiting!
And to all the Kiwi's and Aussies out there, have a good ANZAC day tomorrow!  {HUGS} from me to YOU:-)

Sunshine's Angels!

The top photo is my "Angel Tree" I made for Christmas.  I had bought a small angel die - you cut it out and fold the wings back and voila!  You have an angel!  I grabbed a small branch from a tree out side and hung the angels on each branch.
The bottom photo is my "Angel Umbrella" I made from and old broken umbrella!  I took the material off, suspended the upside down umbrella from the ceiling (no mean feat as it is a very high ceiling and I am very short -even on a ladder!) and hung the angels and other Christmas bits on each spoke of the umbrella.  I have done this for the last 3 years. It wasn't all that easy to photograph but I gave it a shot.  The umbrella one slowly twirls in the breeze and my 2 cats are totally mesmeried by it!  They sit under it and watch it twirling!  I take it down each year and re-decorate it each Christmas.

Birthday Flower Pot and Pop Up Box Card

The top card is what I made for my friends 80th birthday last November.  She used to live next door but has since moved so we don't see so much of each other now which is a shame as I miss her! We were, and still are, great stamping buddies! The flower pot card was so much fun to make, bee's and lady bugs, dragonflies...yep alot of fun!  I cut out the flowr pot shape by hand and traced it onto some card.  The pop up box card was one I also made for the same friend, but for Christmas.  Once again, a fun card to make!  I think I ended up making about 6 of them.  Once I started I couldn't stop!  Okay, thanks for visitng, {HUGS} from me to YOU:-)

We Heart YOU!

Piper and Brownie all dressed up for Valentines Day!  They love playing 'dress-ups' for me and my camera!  If you want to meet them in person, go to Carevets Glen Eden, 69 West Coast Road, Glen Eden in Auckland!  Their owners work at the vet clinic and these two Valentine cuties go to work with their owners.  I see them every week because I buy my cat food from the vet.
Happy Friday everyone!  Thanks for visiting, {HUGS} from me to YOU:-)

All Dressed Up!

In the top photo "Piper" is dressed in her Elf suit ready to be one of Santa's little helpers!  Both these dogs are very tiny - my cats are much bigger than these two!  The bottom photo is of "Brownie" dressed as a waiter!  "May I take your order, madam?," he is saying!  The seat they were sitting on was slippery and their little legs kept sliding  all over the place!  These photo's were taken in the vet clinic and clients were constantly coming in and out.  No matter how busy the waiting room was these two kept their concentration on their "photo sesion"! Their photo's are now up on the wall in the vet clinic as well as on their face book page!  I am hoping to dress them up for Halloween photo's sometime -watch this space!

Two Cutie's!

These 2 are Brownie (on the left) and Piper (on the right) and I see them every week when I go to the Vet to get my cat food!  Oh-so friendly and oh-so- cute!  I took this photo, plus some others, for Valentines Day this year.  Both these cuties are very happy for me to dress them up as I like!  And they pose like professionals!  I did some Christmas photo's too and will eventually post them on here.  The cushion looks huge against these two as they are quite tiny dogs.  Thank you to their owners who work at the Vet clinic!
Happy crafting everyone; {HUGS} from me to YOU:-

Red Flowers x Two!

About a month ago I made a journal for someone very special.  She had been visiting me every week for 4 years and had made a huge, positive diference in my life.  She was moving on to a new job and so I made a journal for her.  The red flower on the right is the paper flower I made and put on the wrapping on the journal.  On the left is the front of a card she gave me.  Un-knowingly we had each chosen something for the other with an almost identical red flower on it!  We were so surprised that we each took a photo of the two flowers side by side!

Yay!  My first proper post in months!  I am so glad to be back!Have a great weekend; {HUGS} from me to YOU:-)

Thank You For Your Patience!

Well!  I am still here and still crafting!  I have had some problems with my computer and I have also had some serious health issues.  I have to re-load my photo program before I can start posting on my blog.  Because of health issues (Concussion - not my fault!) I need to do things slowly.  So be patient and I will (soon I hope!) have some new stuff on here!
In the mean time, have a great ay!
