"Santa's Elves Deliver!"

This (above) is a set of 11 dies from Sizzix.  If you go to "The Stamps of Life" website, you will see Stephanie Barnard demonstrating these flip-it dies.  They are so cool and so much fun!
This is the card I made using the flip-it dies.  The top photo is the outside of the card, and the bottom photo is the inside.  The dies do everything for you!  You just assemble all the bits you cut out, and embellish the card as you like!  Lot's of fun:-)
This is some of the things that "Santa's Elves" delivered to my place for Christmas!  Lorraine M!  Please note the set of star dies!

Thanks for visiting, and have a very Happy New Year!  See you in 2016!  {HUGS} from me to YOU:-)

Vellum Pocket Cards and More!

This is a vellum card I made which has two pockets/sides.  Quick and easy to make:-)  The top photo is the front of the card.
The bottom photo is the two little cards that fit into the pockets.  I put some white card on so I can write/stamp a message on them.
Here are two others that I made. I used different vellum for each pocket card.
The cats below is a card from a friend for my birthday the other day!  They are in a circle and one of them holds a tiny card in his mouth!  Sooooo cute!

Here's a view of the other side of the cats!  They look very happy don't they, dancing round in a circle!
Below is another cat card I received awhile ago, from the same person who gave me the circle of cats card.  This is so cute as it is just folded in a certain way and the cat stands up!
And last but not least is a horse card also from the same person that I got awhile ago.  The horse also stands up by himself!
All of these cards fit into a normal size envelope as they close up flat.  Thank you for dropping by, {Hugs from me to YOU:-)
This is possibly my last post until after Christmas when things settle down.  I hope all my readers have a happy, safe Holiday Season!

Hand Made By Me!

This is my "Hand Made" Christmas tree!  I bought the tree from the Op Shop and made all the ornaments on it.  I made these some years ago and they are stitched by hand.
The Santa is about five inches tall and made of felt, as are most of the ornaments on this tree.
These are some cat's I made.  The reindeer beside him was from a card I got.  The nose is like a shaker card with tiny red beads inside!
The ice skates were a gift from a friend and are made of metal.
Two cute Polar Bears!  They are about five inches tall.
I have Christmas decorations all around the house and have just put up my Angel tree, which I will photograph and put in another post!

Angel Cards And A Fragrant Rose!

This little pocket holds about 25 Angel Cards I made.  I made the flower from vellum, using a Poinsettia die.  The bottom layer is made from gold card. I added the red flower to the center of the vellum flower.
Here is a close up of the flower and the heart bead I added.  The gold cord is elastic and holds the pocket closed.  I used DSP for the pocket.
Here are the Angel Cards.  Each card has a positive message on it, as well as a small glitter Angel I cut from glitter card from the $2 Shop.  The Angel dies are Memory Box dies I think.
This is one of the roses I was given from my 90 year old Aunty who came to visit me recently!  The fragrance from the roses filled the entire house all week!

Flower Christmas Card!

A quick Christmas card using Kaisercraft scallop border dies.
I'm not sure which company the stamp is from but I have it for many years.
I made the flower using some vellum that has tiny silver stars on it.  I used a SU flower punch and did three layers of vellum and then some gold card for the bottom.  I added a small flower to the center of the vellum flower.  Not exactly a Christmas flower, or Christmas colours, but I like it anyhow!
Last but not least, these are the dies I used.  The bottom die is the one I actually used on this card.  WARNING!!  These dies DO NOT fit width wise through a Cuttlebug machine!  They are a few millimeters wider than the Cuttlebug.
I cute the scallop border separately and glued it to the bottom of the card.  It doesn't say, on the packaging that it doesn't fit the Cuttlebug, so be warned if you buy these and have a Cuttlebug!

Quick Christmas Tags and A Double Pocket Card

Above are three quick Christmas tags I made last night.  I had some small scraps of card left over and thought I would make tags with them!  (I hate throwing away bits of card that I can still use!)
Here's a double pocket card I made with a piece of DSP.  I wanted to make a Christmas card but none of my DSP was Christmassay! The photo above is the front of the card, closed.  I made the flower from clear/white vellum paper and used a poinsettia die.
And here is the front again showing the stamped words (SU). I added a small pink flower to the top right hand corner of the card.
Here is the inside of the card, (above) and the bottom photo is showing the stamped word. ("Enjoy!", from SU)  This was a really fun card to make and I am working on another one!
This is a photo showing two snow people who are par of my Christmas decorations!  I got them at a craft sale fro $3 each!  They were brand new and I got a bargain that day!
