I live with a rare & invisible medical condition that often puts me in hospital without warning. I am also partially sighted with very limited vision. When I am well I like to make cards! I also love photography. I have 2 gorjuss Purr-ritos called "Bella-Rosa", & "Romeo-Valentino". They often end up in my photo's! My simply awesome Soulmate (who remains nameless) said I should create a blog...and here it is! Enjoy!Unknownnoreply@blogger.comBlogger1539125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4458000063487556623.post-36349179707749383662024-03-15T17:59:00.001+13:002024-03-15T17:59:09.412+13:00Another Card, and My House Not My Cat, Kind Of!<p></p><div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="font-size: large;">Here's another card I made, using the technique in the previous post. They are so quick, and so much fun to make. You can make them with any shaped lid, have you tried this technique. I splattered the card with some brown Dinkles. To keep the splatters off the Badger, I just placed the stamp over top of the image before I did the splatters. Oh yes, there's a "whoopsie" on here! I stamped the word 'Nature' too close to the Badgers foot. So I inked up the top of the letter "N" in white. Probably not the most creative idea I've ever had, but I couldn't think of anything else to fix it! Oh well!</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVzOhCIp30EYQO4N-e-Q6BCeBo3O_LElOoJnxhpHmGhJptgrMOOKdxH-KUd1Utt2HBAkeoO8NxtnjVsALHsrWwIWSEGwyIEr1BlL6M3X8fcp4H1SFMTQz8M5xdt57MltUrBL45eqWa289x0a691PyzleHAySk6Wu950evKM0tgcbvfifUQeQGVXRwqTls/s640/20240314_153133%5B1%5D.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="587" data-original-width="640" height="368" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVzOhCIp30EYQO4N-e-Q6BCeBo3O_LElOoJnxhpHmGhJptgrMOOKdxH-KUd1Utt2HBAkeoO8NxtnjVsALHsrWwIWSEGwyIEr1BlL6M3X8fcp4H1SFMTQz8M5xdt57MltUrBL45eqWa289x0a691PyzleHAySk6Wu950evKM0tgcbvfifUQeQGVXRwqTls/w400-h368/20240314_153133%5B1%5D.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;"><div style="text-align: justify;">This is "Wookie". She is not my cat, and she does not live here, kind of. She belongs to my friends who live behind my place. Last year she 'left home; and started visiting me. I had met her some time before, but this time she did not want to go home. My friends (who own her) had recently got two little dogs, ad "Wookie" does not like them. She's not scared of them, she just does not like them. She is a little skittish and when the dogs run at her (to play) she runs, which makes the dogs think it is a game. "Wookie" has other ideas. Long story short, I said I was happy to feed her, and that she was welcome here any time. She does sometimes go "home" to visit her owners, but mostly she is here at my place. "Romeo" (my cat) loves her! </div></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNPXOQVyK9ISchvqFFhWjYpWdMoOdzcZpUaQXlwbmUdz9P1UblUUoKUgBcFbdmub6byB5ExxzXdTUWLevMD6DyKMgqu0tSk7LUqisBgJ3zLOY91FB7VrXFr3wrDqqJngR2MjQjK1P2OKKNACozS6_uV-nswEGJ7dZOj6UBUTctgaXLqoKhQIfF9ZMwV7o/s3264/IMG_20240208_184150%5B1%5D%20Wookie%202.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3264" data-original-width="2448" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNPXOQVyK9ISchvqFFhWjYpWdMoOdzcZpUaQXlwbmUdz9P1UblUUoKUgBcFbdmub6byB5ExxzXdTUWLevMD6DyKMgqu0tSk7LUqisBgJ3zLOY91FB7VrXFr3wrDqqJngR2MjQjK1P2OKKNACozS6_uV-nswEGJ7dZOj6UBUTctgaXLqoKhQIfF9ZMwV7o/w300-h400/IMG_20240208_184150%5B1%5D%20Wookie%202.jpg" width="300" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;"><div style="text-align: justify;">At her "home" she has a cat door to get in and out when she likes. We don't have a cat door, but as you can see, "Wookie" comes in one of my dining room windows! I have the screen thing on the window so "Romeo" cannot get out. He has health issues and has to be an inside cat. But as you can see, "Wookie" can fit through the screen just fine! There is a large oblong pot planter about 6 inches below the window, and she jumps into there, then pops in through the window! I saw her one day and quickly snapped these photo's!</div></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhk1gZWFvyMFzlyCHy1iS2NQV5orEBlUBulf0cVCYI-JmifYhYxcp2f6rB-k3f9y4iea2N4ZJUjD3ovK5M9l7lBYVvl6j0M2ksC-WGt_Wx7HSBZibYnlBHiTryWU0Mhy-15jsLSrfEXrVN89DtPd253qPctukfOdyrIS14RJ0WpkWEp3dmVeBaoUQRC5Uk/s3264/IMG_20240208_184155%5B1%5D%20Wookie%201.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3264" data-original-width="2448" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhk1gZWFvyMFzlyCHy1iS2NQV5orEBlUBulf0cVCYI-JmifYhYxcp2f6rB-k3f9y4iea2N4ZJUjD3ovK5M9l7lBYVvl6j0M2ksC-WGt_Wx7HSBZibYnlBHiTryWU0Mhy-15jsLSrfEXrVN89DtPd253qPctukfOdyrIS14RJ0WpkWEp3dmVeBaoUQRC5Uk/w300-h400/IMG_20240208_184155%5B1%5D%20Wookie%201.jpg" width="300" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;"><div style="text-align: justify;">So, as Andrea said, I have been adopted by "Wookie"! I feed her and her owners drop food and flea treatments over for me to give her. If I didn't feed her, it's quite likely she would wander further afield. At least this way, my friends know she is loved, fed and cared for. I enjoy her company, as does "Romeo", and they are good company for each other. </div></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYct2-PZMA56p8hm45hiVcWtG3cj2vtxbMOMWbyqAmGk0MS11_lgJcgi-GjzLuYvv4PX0LZmibbfTH4MU30FJRojSS6Pv0YTkFannc2M-iVBrOM4DRn9HoEdrDFTTnXK_fQtZ22ktWVQxRQElORS1wxPGTpxudeQFckhYK5uZSbPXdUjOhqNia07wDeyA/s1561/20240312_130630%5B1%5D.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1561" data-original-width="1324" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYct2-PZMA56p8hm45hiVcWtG3cj2vtxbMOMWbyqAmGk0MS11_lgJcgi-GjzLuYvv4PX0LZmibbfTH4MU30FJRojSS6Pv0YTkFannc2M-iVBrOM4DRn9HoEdrDFTTnXK_fQtZ22ktWVQxRQElORS1wxPGTpxudeQFckhYK5uZSbPXdUjOhqNia07wDeyA/w339-h400/20240312_130630%5B1%5D.jpg" width="339" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;"><div style="text-align: justify;">Does anyone remember the "I Can Has Cheeseburger?" cats??! I do! This is "Wookie" doing her best, "I Can Has Cheeseburger" look, at me! And yes, I was eating a cheeseburger at the time, lol! Ever since I came out of hospital, I have had weird food cravings. Cheese burgers was one, which is really weird because I don't eat take away food like this. It's been about 23 years since I last went to eat at McDonalds, up until recently. Take away food like this would normally make me very unwell, as I cannot tolerate fat/cream etc.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Anyway, I just thought I would introduce "Wookie", and tell you her story! She's about three and is such a sweetheart. She has the cutest purr, and a very tuneful "Mrrrp"!</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Thanks for dropping by, have a SUNSHINE day! Not to mention back and forwards to see Doctors. I'm back home again now, and slowly getting back to my usual routine. I am very slow and my vision is a bit blurry, due to the medication I am on. That will settle down over the next few weeks. I had these cards made and ready to post but kept ending up in hospital. On top of that hiccup, they kept loading up in the wrong order this morning, so I had to re-loading them one at a time so they made sense. Frustratingš£.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: large;">So here's the firs card, using Lavinia Stamps.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgm83zOQvAtL8oY5tKwaKaS7d6tvLpuZYXsEMvGaGLsRUx0yz4sI6e6VjCQc7PNRqLvq5ubsLm-PTkJK_G35jSDAVNLfSKjR-uO0mn5czfEQIGNPGJdtIf_9ABDvxUejeJp4o2S2019AzPiKtwEJmo_2vSSe-dObxOSxzXC6q0ZTQAoF8eOpJMZeoIO5Ls/s640/20240310_163222%5B1%5D.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="584" data-original-width="640" height="365" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgm83zOQvAtL8oY5tKwaKaS7d6tvLpuZYXsEMvGaGLsRUx0yz4sI6e6VjCQc7PNRqLvq5ubsLm-PTkJK_G35jSDAVNLfSKjR-uO0mn5czfEQIGNPGJdtIf_9ABDvxUejeJp4o2S2019AzPiKtwEJmo_2vSSe-dObxOSxzXC6q0ZTQAoF8eOpJMZeoIO5Ls/w400-h365/20240310_163222%5B1%5D.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;"><div style="text-align: justify;">I used LS Multifarious cardstock, and a Distress Oxide stamp pad. Keep wetting the square, dragging the water down from the stamped square. The card will get quite wet, so keep the card on flat surface. I also did a very feint bit of stenciling around the image. Add sparkles if you wish! Then the card is finished! I made another one and backed the image onto a piece of black card. This technique is really simple and quick to make! I had heaps of fun making these cards! You can use any lid off any stamp pad to make these "Cubies"! </div></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfzFkP3GlDDSLWPPMGVKr8GOHwydOfTPv7XBoOFquEAr5lXiZQwIry5u4O-YVUpn1SlndIPiM5BHkf5d_Yp5DJYr0_qOGCI7ZexLCYclsbcULXMzhfYcjZbrzBaAh64RQHZ9LOhkJHwFOEw3Q28Y0hIQvofBvKpNq6xPxAUsHVck_RujnjEn2o41MhJ5Y/s640/20240310_163222%5B1%5D.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="584" data-original-width="640" height="365" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfzFkP3GlDDSLWPPMGVKr8GOHwydOfTPv7XBoOFquEAr5lXiZQwIry5u4O-YVUpn1SlndIPiM5BHkf5d_Yp5DJYr0_qOGCI7ZexLCYclsbcULXMzhfYcjZbrzBaAh64RQHZ9LOhkJHwFOEw3Q28Y0hIQvofBvKpNq6xPxAUsHVck_RujnjEn2o41MhJ5Y/w400-h365/20240310_163222%5B1%5D.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqsEZ7fVF3WYWZ4RWVECU6BB8umfD-BTicnLbRHClh1Wv3ymc9QJ80GUgjpBJ-_FEoYWbet5hGZXFXVvURWSxruGiUT_t_mHJEoq0F8Y7Mb79pMJXsAz40K5I3RCWL7FPbS359_n__4zW8zxpAD4HqHxWA-Rbg6JxgtqdCQvbSH-KfmYeTK_ZsabPoX_I/s659/20240311_155929%5B1%5D.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="659" data-original-width="640" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqsEZ7fVF3WYWZ4RWVECU6BB8umfD-BTicnLbRHClh1Wv3ymc9QJ80GUgjpBJ-_FEoYWbet5hGZXFXVvURWSxruGiUT_t_mHJEoq0F8Y7Mb79pMJXsAz40K5I3RCWL7FPbS359_n__4zW8zxpAD4HqHxWA-Rbg6JxgtqdCQvbSH-KfmYeTK_ZsabPoX_I/s320/20240311_155929%5B1%5D.jpg" width="311" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;"><div style="text-align: justify;">These last two cards I made using a 6 inch square gel press. The medication I am on scrambles my brain! It will take me another week or so until my brain fog has gone - please be patient with me, lol!! As well as being in and out of hospital, I have somehow injured my left hip, yes the hip I had the replacement in. It's kept me off my feet for the last nine days, and I'm having to take painkillers every five hours. Even though I sit on an orthopedic cushion, my hip is still very painful. I had x-rays done, and the hip joint is not fractured, just very painful. The pain wakes me around 4 am every morning, which means I feel like a zombie all day! Apart from all that, I am still here and slowly getting back into my crafting, which I have missed so much! </div><div style="text-align: justify;">Thanks for dropping by! Have a SUNSHINE day! When I saw it, I cracked up laughing, as I thought it was so funny! I think I was having one of those MM's - Mad Moments! The witches hat is from Lavinia Stamps, and the legs are from Stampin' Up! The legs on my card are from a stamp from Temu. I had advertised to buy the SU "Bewitched" stamp set, but had no luck. So I found this set on Temu. I prefer the SU set, but haven't found anyone selling it. It was lot's of fun to make, and think I will make more throughout the year!</div></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsPCH1SQn4R08N7hk3n_LRY9oEk-1M9UPVtLodQxtShtl_z7nygaWwyivucntbPsQXrBFwesoQewFoDvsqeFwQp3WuQLfvvZ3f4TQK9uS72d8jQnP59CBpnn-xhLl3hU5YUcAZLuyvZGac4G6Wma-5jmOKseFT6_dcgN776T7HYmWsWWL928FNy9O8kYs/s640/IMG_9576.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="569" data-original-width="640" height="356" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsPCH1SQn4R08N7hk3n_LRY9oEk-1M9UPVtLodQxtShtl_z7nygaWwyivucntbPsQXrBFwesoQewFoDvsqeFwQp3WuQLfvvZ3f4TQK9uS72d8jQnP59CBpnn-xhLl3hU5YUcAZLuyvZGac4G6Wma-5jmOKseFT6_dcgN776T7HYmWsWWL928FNy9O8kYs/w400-h356/IMG_9576.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;"><div style="text-align: justify;">The card above uses two Visible Image stencils - the heart and the flower, and one of their stamp sets. She visits me almost every day, and I feed her. Her owners know and are fine with this. "Wookie" lives with two other cats, and two small dogs which she is not fond of at all. So she comes to me because she knows I don't have dogs, and knows she will get fed here. She is quite happy to come inside -Romeo is fine with that and mostly ignores her! I took these photo's of her last night. I was hanging out of a dining room window, looking down on her, and used my zoom lens. Just below the window is a small narrow ledge, which she eventually jumped up on! She's such a sweetheart, and loves pat and tummy rub! </div></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_v_aUYtVl2YnZPW5Qw_KonXx6QQGIOWmeLOgWEhH6rl2ZdeDnT8LxyAOfT9648ZZTivMrcfYnCt23iOBFdlVls2ye7AOAHCKBixTlCXYMfk4xPi-VjHk10sG97uKqYXuGtzI3bgP3boFdT8Betjz3q0uVmzqKcxFMVLZudLw767IyYYeP7PiE3oOukE4/s531/IMG_9559.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="531" height="301" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_v_aUYtVl2YnZPW5Qw_KonXx6QQGIOWmeLOgWEhH6rl2ZdeDnT8LxyAOfT9648ZZTivMrcfYnCt23iOBFdlVls2ye7AOAHCKBixTlCXYMfk4xPi-VjHk10sG97uKqYXuGtzI3bgP3boFdT8Betjz3q0uVmzqKcxFMVLZudLw767IyYYeP7PiE3oOukE4/w400-h301/IMG_9559.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrADArlmGVcn2NzwDo2cYNq7OWQ63nB9Xe-K9_K0Oggtc9ymozsi8JPU_nSJmY09Vyynbvk0irXSLrTPfL-7Kve8epoS4u_Fg0yBYHCD_aogt1ABbCzMlgYVz6qPActc2PMDHnPh8Gvg2zkvw6h_QwWs-3x6A3U3hQjgRGY34TmLr8CQIhzRT-3OPw_Ag/s1110/IMG_9563.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1110" data-original-width="640" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrADArlmGVcn2NzwDo2cYNq7OWQ63nB9Xe-K9_K0Oggtc9ymozsi8JPU_nSJmY09Vyynbvk0irXSLrTPfL-7Kve8epoS4u_Fg0yBYHCD_aogt1ABbCzMlgYVz6qPActc2PMDHnPh8Gvg2zkvw6h_QwWs-3x6A3U3hQjgRGY34TmLr8CQIhzRT-3OPw_Ag/w231-h400/IMG_9563.jpg" width="231" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;"><div style="text-align: justify;">So I was back in hospital again last week, but thankfully was only there overnight and was back home by 9 am the next day. Their pillows are not comfortable at all, and I end up with a sore back/neck when I use theirs!! Thanks for dropping by, have a SUNSHINE day! I do like the Snail House stamp! I stamped and then masked the Snail House, then stamped the mushroom's so they appeared to be behind the Snail House. I then used one of the Forest Moss stamps under the Snail House. There's a set of two stamps, I used the smaller of the two stamps. I stamped the flowers around the Snail House. In hind sight it would have been a lot easier if I had stamped the flowers while I had the Snail House masked! Hind sight is wonderful, if only it was foresight! Anyway, that's what I did. I then used Mondeluz water colour pencils to colour the Mushrooms and the Snail House. I coloured the Forest Moss with my Clean Colour Real Brush markers. I added some white Posca pen dots to the mushrooms, and the Forest Moss, as well as the Snail House. I outlined the entire image with a pale grey CCRB marker. The background I used a stencil brush to add some LS Blue Atoll ink pad, and some Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink pad. Lastly, (I think!) i stamped the words, which is another new stamp from Lavinia Stamps. Oh, and I carefully splattered on some water drops just to add some texture. Although I had fun creating this card, I was very tired, having just come out of hospital again. I had suddenly become very unwell the night before and needed medical help, and ended up in the local hospital for around eight or nine hours. I was discharged later that day and when I came home I just wanted to create and take my mind off my health issues. I'd had the total of two hours sleep the night before, so I was pretty tired. I find creating cards or whatever, is very absorbing and relaxing. And this is the card I made!</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: x-large;">Feeling much better this morning, after getting a full nights sleep! </span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: x-large;">Thanks for dropping by! Their new range was released January 26th, and I was very lucky to receive my order (yes, I bought the entire Bundle!) February 2nd, seven days from ordering to the stamps sitting on my desk! That is quick, coming all the wat from the UK to New Zealand! I coloured the card using Distress Oxide inks, Posca pens and Mondeluz water colour pencils. For one, it has been so hot and humid that my energy is very low. The second reason is, I am waiting to get my heat pump installed, and because it is going in my 'art room', which is also my dining room, I have had to move stuff out so they can get in to install the heat pump. I have moved 2 desks into my lounge, so if I want to stamp, I have o rummage round and find where things are. The above photo is of some of the envelopes I made. In the photo below, the empty space in the right on the photo is where the 2 desks were, and the heat pump will go on the wall next to the window. </span></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikE_WqLnSgGeus4FEpPoFof0WidmNaGmO3G_j_bx9SZWTgEH9xByfRkPujJj2zqMx9CuuSo9D0UDp_NWKbBB28hN9gYHGYkM5M9lHh-grWIOzE1NLTbNs3Xf4EtwawY5dfZ4Nt-58nJ0K_G7iEwX0gHvyQkrHa56AV4jFXVsQO9J6i0l6DPTFrj9ERvwA/s640/IMG_9528.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="427" data-original-width="640" height="268" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikE_WqLnSgGeus4FEpPoFof0WidmNaGmO3G_j_bx9SZWTgEH9xByfRkPujJj2zqMx9CuuSo9D0UDp_NWKbBB28hN9gYHGYkM5M9lHh-grWIOzE1NLTbNs3Xf4EtwawY5dfZ4Nt-58nJ0K_G7iEwX0gHvyQkrHa56AV4jFXVsQO9J6i0l6DPTFrj9ERvwA/w400-h268/IMG_9528.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><p></p><div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: large;">The next photo below is some of my stuff I have moved to the lounge.</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"> <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcSInznD7ayBlAN-VFP-h6BD3fr8XIV90w7VO62x0IZ7kFaUkYspq5cJN1JCyL8pixsgZSberXbZcQOKsw-Z4yQxpCG00RZDDJJwJ3eRFvFBoEoKdaijjZAQuGQB1bN0BOrH-XZJDShVMBn96GY8LEzuUbhtmfFU8I6vRrxE-K_gRKeg_fOlhndd49C4Y/s640/IMG_9534.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="427" data-original-width="640" height="268" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcSInznD7ayBlAN-VFP-h6BD3fr8XIV90w7VO62x0IZ7kFaUkYspq5cJN1JCyL8pixsgZSberXbZcQOKsw-Z4yQxpCG00RZDDJJwJ3eRFvFBoEoKdaijjZAQuGQB1bN0BOrH-XZJDShVMBn96GY8LEzuUbhtmfFU8I6vRrxE-K_gRKeg_fOlhndd49C4Y/w400-h268/IMG_9534.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: large;">Another shot, below, of what's left of my craft room at the moment.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-aWih8U-9HGopSafZBff4TMeHnYYh1eD7Hz_hBSuye-z4LrGU1rkemnrWgTywE0Rqapj2v_fpFNQqVDjEMrOFG1SzKT4qjMEeweAo23zRGXhygSvbTA4K2QqCx_O2QkY1OgQCd-gGSW3UIeJh7ZC3xbGrxMTW31nIic7JsWzlYOJxWIuBuSwuS-42sns/s640/IMG_9529.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="427" data-original-width="640" height="268" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-aWih8U-9HGopSafZBff4TMeHnYYh1eD7Hz_hBSuye-z4LrGU1rkemnrWgTywE0Rqapj2v_fpFNQqVDjEMrOFG1SzKT4qjMEeweAo23zRGXhygSvbTA4K2QqCx_O2QkY1OgQCd-gGSW3UIeJh7ZC3xbGrxMTW31nIic7JsWzlYOJxWIuBuSwuS-42sns/w400-h268/IMG_9529.jpg" width="400" /></a></div></div></div><blockquote style="border: none; margin: 0 0 0 40px; padding: 0px;"><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: large;">Below is a shot of some of my craft stuff I have moved into the lounge.</span></div></blockquote><div><div style="text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtCpM6iWHE7MU_CNG-gnwuQyK-kCfKYkx4e-1Z26fKhuZZM9gk-EbeEo2dO4hZn57s55fE6SwUkX7pM0ApcD0jg5fQtj8zV9KQmxgZw3KUwNwxqSPmpaVnUEsyZ6YCPT83Av7BA5o3_Q2SmLZwKhP5qvaG2cEwEw2ijjeic-W8jEfmK0HZ5gbeo_bz2Po/s640/IMG_9533.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="427" data-original-width="640" height="268" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtCpM6iWHE7MU_CNG-gnwuQyK-kCfKYkx4e-1Z26fKhuZZM9gk-EbeEo2dO4hZn57s55fE6SwUkX7pM0ApcD0jg5fQtj8zV9KQmxgZw3KUwNwxqSPmpaVnUEsyZ6YCPT83Av7BA5o3_Q2SmLZwKhP5qvaG2cEwEw2ijjeic-W8jEfmK0HZ5gbeo_bz2Po/w400-h268/IMG_9533.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: large;">The photo below shows more of stuff form my craft room, that I moved into the lounge room. I use Versa Fine Clair Nocturne black stamp pad on all my stamps. Both stencils come with the negative and the positive, so you get two stencils in one pack. I wish had access to VI products here in New Zealand, but I couldn't find anyone who stocks them so ended up ordering them from Visible image in the UK. I wasn't happy with how the heart cad was going, and had almost decided to flip the card over and start again. However, I didn't and decided too carry on and see how I felt when the card was finished. I really like the card now it's finished! I wish you could see it in reality, because it is so much prettier, and you get a better view of the subtle shading. There are some water splatters on the heart card, but they don't show up well in this photo. And.... </div><div style="text-align: justify;">I forgot to add them to the flower cad - oops!</div><div style="text-align: justify;">There, I've just added them, so if you have good imagination you will be able to see them! Happy crafting too! These next six cards were made using a Stampin'</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Up! stamp and punch set I go recently. I first saw the set before Christmas, but here in NZ it wasn't available to order until January 3rd. I had to wait...counting off the days until I could order it! I fell in love with that oh-so-cute Bee and knew I had to order the suite! It came with some pretty DSP, some pillow boxes to make up, some ribbon and some cute little enamel heart and daisy shaped self adhesive embellishments. </div><div style="text-align: justify;">However, I've been of my feet (literally) for the last 8 days.. I was hit with a bad dose of Vertigo. My head was spinning and my balance was not good. Moving my eyes, head or body would make me feel so unbalanced and nauseous. The best thing fore was to rest/sleep on my bed. But even that was a challenge as I felt like I was going to fall off the bed. I made sure to lie in the middle of the bed, so it was not possible for me to fall.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Anyway, I am now feeling better, not quite 100%, but much better than I was. The constant nausea has gone, and I am able to move around ok again. I do need to move slowly though, and if I need to turn to look vat something, I do it slowly. Vertigo and feeling dizzy are two different things. With Vertigo you feeling like the everything is spinning. Kind of like trying to walk during an earthquake, and you can't balance. Anyway, because of feeling so yuck I wasn't able to play with my new craft things. I made these cards over several days, as I started to feel better. It was a "slow" process, with many "Nana naps" in between! On top of not feeling well, it' extremely humid. I love the (dry) heat, but the humidity just knocks me out.</div></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtvhEp2T1Uc-KWQLbTv9Vjcri4bpCgwPcNAjwUVxJa-Vh92XKJr0_yk1RyTy-Ot5vzkWmf_klSKNG1Mf_Y3sHM-XYLNHkcJUQ3_htDPIL7-4W0B2mN1-O_OFjW14Pnl8lXk0qLNbYTDnyVegaR7g5BqS9s_s1yL_h_HtG8f-BP1evYLbe0M88BbFIculk/s640/IMG_9510.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="471" data-original-width="640" height="295" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtvhEp2T1Uc-KWQLbTv9Vjcri4bpCgwPcNAjwUVxJa-Vh92XKJr0_yk1RyTy-Ot5vzkWmf_klSKNG1Mf_Y3sHM-XYLNHkcJUQ3_htDPIL7-4W0B2mN1-O_OFjW14Pnl8lXk0qLNbYTDnyVegaR7g5BqS9s_s1yL_h_HtG8f-BP1evYLbe0M88BbFIculk/w400-h295/IMG_9510.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;"><div style="text-align: justify;">These 2 cards are mini ones I made using scraps of card that were sitting on my desk.</div></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMwNz7FPbnlfaFrM9BB8heEBMvEzZ48wU0k5Utgq3zDAxfdhY8GfI4nFuyX1mgqFrvyiuVSe4T9IHpjq8TC30t7S_tIca02OvHjdjYX__yq1PaxpdEE2qN40yMMephp0-xBnTEAlu_H4v-k-y4VKhtllqk_8sRLSqkEiPAu8YWxG-QPUlNZF9l3ycTKRs/s640/IMG_9511.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="418" data-original-width="640" height="261" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMwNz7FPbnlfaFrM9BB8heEBMvEzZ48wU0k5Utgq3zDAxfdhY8GfI4nFuyX1mgqFrvyiuVSe4T9IHpjq8TC30t7S_tIca02OvHjdjYX__yq1PaxpdEE2qN40yMMephp0-xBnTEAlu_H4v-k-y4VKhtllqk_8sRLSqkEiPAu8YWxG-QPUlNZF9l3ycTKRs/w400-h261/IMG_9511.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: large;">I stamped the white card (below) using some of the floral stamps from the Bee My Valentine" stamp set, using different coloured ink pads. Remember to always be your authentic self, and shine bright each and every day!</div></span> <p></p>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4458000063487556623.post-38186137771307909832023-12-26T15:15:00.005+13:002023-12-26T15:15:43.831+13:00No! You're Not Seeing Double!<p></p><div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="font-size: large;">Oh darn. These photos have loaded up in the wrong order. The cards (at the bottom) were supposed to be first! Oh well, "iiwii" - It Is What It Is! So one of my neighbours , who is a professional photographer, gave me a new lens for my camera the the other day! So I thought I would take a few close up shots of one of the Agapanthus flowers that are in full bloom right now. Oh, and a Dandelion dead head. There is small breeze blowing, so it wasn't easy to get a good in focus shot, but I gave it a go! Darn that little bit of wind!</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhWTOmySkwD2C9B3qVYVqbnX5jLGQKRC2Ii72dHU3PsVkhVE5RmNC3UHJEQAZuur5hr2Kg5MCGDTcUSEGjxEblA_83AEOKHXD0ECFoSLhv6ffT-nUv4RDLfw5nmOuLjZ6EanTC1mYZH1yBEBu8hZxwQrnN_ktD719aP38LEZyBLHDT5OWRpYKB_5SugUQ/s2807/IMG_9502ue.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2753" data-original-width="2807" height="393" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhWTOmySkwD2C9B3qVYVqbnX5jLGQKRC2Ii72dHU3PsVkhVE5RmNC3UHJEQAZuur5hr2Kg5MCGDTcUSEGjxEblA_83AEOKHXD0ECFoSLhv6ffT-nUv4RDLfw5nmOuLjZ6EanTC1mYZH1yBEBu8hZxwQrnN_ktD719aP38LEZyBLHDT5OWRpYKB_5SugUQ/w400-h393/IMG_9502ue.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;"><div style="text-align: justify;">I have always loved the colour of these Agapanthus, ad these were not actually 'planted'. My stamping friend Margaret, who at the time, lived 2 houses around the corner from me, had asked if I cold dig some out of her garden, as they were taking over. She only had a small area of garden. So I dug some out took them home. As I said, I didn't actually 'plant' them. All I did was dig a slit into the soil, wiggle the spade sideways and placed the Agapanthus plants on top. Every single one of them grew! They will not take over the garden as there is plenty of room for them to spread out as much as they like. </div></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtFdi4t7zyoFGDGombOkv0BJTcLVPkB296gimnqwcTRav3m76t3v309DgiCik97PEFrjWhSu8ugS9jupviR4snwmK5X0X-fMck-USHdKkVlR0yYgapxsieAw757LxIBY0isVY3gGsiS44aAIMTOb0pmhvXl7bpTD-JhusGVKZRNx_aCTGT-eKsO7Fhe9g/s2857/IMG_9496ue.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2722" data-original-width="2857" height="381" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtFdi4t7zyoFGDGombOkv0BJTcLVPkB296gimnqwcTRav3m76t3v309DgiCik97PEFrjWhSu8ugS9jupviR4snwmK5X0X-fMck-USHdKkVlR0yYgapxsieAw757LxIBY0isVY3gGsiS44aAIMTOb0pmhvXl7bpTD-JhusGVKZRNx_aCTGT-eKsO7Fhe9g/w400-h381/IMG_9496ue.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;"><div style="text-align: justify;">So here's the same cards I posted yesterday. The only difference is, I have layered them and finished them off properly. So NO! You are not seeing double! Although you cannot see it, I have added glitter to the center of each of the stars on here. It sparkles in real life!</div></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVdrhPZBtJ8B2iw7tMDbGGTpQp9Vf6PpqZzm9Q3WFr47Wun5DrttJQVk5REndDNJOcVdjlYYTiVZR7bRnDiqhz4otvEsEp7NX9wRTKf8aJx1D3HJY8YAqOHPg2yIdWvtimlDzHap49wFA8_pWw7djS0nIZDIyu6KBIkYCiZR05um5LcTRGDINfvlW2ACM/s640/IMG_9495.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="605" data-original-width="640" height="379" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVdrhPZBtJ8B2iw7tMDbGGTpQp9Vf6PpqZzm9Q3WFr47Wun5DrttJQVk5REndDNJOcVdjlYYTiVZR7bRnDiqhz4otvEsEp7NX9wRTKf8aJx1D3HJY8YAqOHPg2yIdWvtimlDzHap49wFA8_pWw7djS0nIZDIyu6KBIkYCiZR05um5LcTRGDINfvlW2ACM/w400-h379/IMG_9495.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;"><div style="text-align: justify;">For the card below I stamped LS stars around the white and black layers of card before I stuck each layer on. For the top card, I used one of the Sticker Stencils to make the star. I rushed on some Milled Lavender Distress Oxide ink. I then made the wavy lines using the same ink, and one of the LS Hill Masks, brushing the ink in an upwards motion. I inked a narrow black line across the star, and then stamped (in black ink) the tiny Pixi Houses, and the tiny tree ,all from LS. I then stamped the word "Peace" under the houses etc. Once I stamped the snowflakes (also in Milled Lavender ink) I hand drew the stitching lines around the card using a white Posca pen.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">I also added some sparkle - gotta have some glitz! I will mat it onto a white card, nd then once again onto a black card.</div></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMi-0BWAaAAZUsJLLrCCbn6dWhyrO2azGiGwbHqIAS51z11gL9omJU2VBc5XDaBWiCV-pOTz1feu8HGhpvIkSTu9zO0yfsPhBUeGNmTwAeU5_p03BfgLifMrp_kwwSj7TiQTvxsWxQA09spA2KIA_AsX47LD6Degscj2R_uCNvOC5ZeUhzCBkFPi4BdMU/s640/IMG_9485.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="570" data-original-width="640" height="356" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMi-0BWAaAAZUsJLLrCCbn6dWhyrO2azGiGwbHqIAS51z11gL9omJU2VBc5XDaBWiCV-pOTz1feu8HGhpvIkSTu9zO0yfsPhBUeGNmTwAeU5_p03BfgLifMrp_kwwSj7TiQTvxsWxQA09spA2KIA_AsX47LD6Degscj2R_uCNvOC5ZeUhzCBkFPi4BdMU/w400-h356/IMG_9485.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;"><div style="text-align: justify;">I used a LS Hill mask, and various coloured ink pads to make the coloured swirl, making sure it was fairly even in the center. It crossed over as I went around the card. Then I stamped the word stamp. then the tree and finally the little stars! This was a lot of fun to make!</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Ok I think that's it for me. "Santa" comes tight, and I hope he has an umbrella and raincoats for his Reindeer, because it is raining! It's very humid and the rain is not making it any cooler. Have a wonderful Holiday Season, however you celebrate! Be safe, be kind and have fun!</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Thanks for dropping by, have a SUNSHINE day! Of course, that may change, as there is often a card or two I have forgotten about! It was my Birthday yesterday, and I bought myself a set of the beautiful Mondeluz water colour pencils. I hope to try them out soon. I will post here when I do!</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: large;">Thanks for dropping by! Have a SUNSHINE day! It's very colourful and very sparkly with Judi-kins Diamond glitter on parts of it. I used my new Layering Rulers for the layers, but mucked up the last (glitter card) layer. It was thicker than I had expected and the ruler moved. Uff da, things happen! To be often I am finding this Christmas really stressful. So many things have happened, such as being in hospital eight times, and not being well. On top of that, trying to get a small loan from WINZ (who pay my pension)to get a heat pump installed, and being told 'no' at every step. I've done everything they have asked, from getting a letter from my Doctor confirming my health issues and how living in a cold damp moldy home is detrimental to my health, and now they want copies of the Family Trust as this house is in a Family Trust with my brother and I. Firstly, I don't have all the papers because the Lawyer holds those. To get copies from him would mean I have to pay around $500 plus, which I refuse to pay. I cannot afford to pay that much. WINZ have accused me of financially gaining from the Trust, which is not true. The only thing I have 'gained' is a roof over my head. They have not been pleasant at all to deal with. I'm giving you the polite version here. I have jumped through so many hoops with Winz that I am sure I am now a qualified Circus performer! It's been going on since June and it has given me SO much stress. I have made and sent cards to a few people who are special to me, but have not sent as many as usual. I'm just too stressed. My case about the loan has now gone from WINZ to a disputes tribunal, so now I have to wait and see what happens from there. I cannot do anymore with WINZ, so the Disputes Tribunal is now advocating on my behalf. Sorry about all this, but I am stressed! While I LOVE making and sending cards, this year I just can't do it. However if you are reading this, then you are on my card list and WILL receive a card from me! Don't panic! Some people I care about more than others. Apologies for all this! Hope you enjoy my card! Thanks for listening! Thanks for dropping by! Have a SUNSHINE day! They are commonly known as New Zealand's Christmas Tree, because they flower around this time of year. They also grow close to some of our beaches as they quite like the sandy soil. If they flower early in the season, it means that we are going to get a nice long dry hot summer - fingers crossed! These tree's are huge, think of an old Oak tree that's been there for a hundred years and that's the size of these. They have some yellow stamens in the middle of the flowers. Our beautiful Native bird, the Tui, loves these tree's and you can often hear them early in the morning calling to one another. </div></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWTD__T7FR5wYOv29cBpEhH-zJyIckAdHAbUF9A5eWZBRc9BE2SayPYfRxbI71S5e2_oG6XCaSUJRTjzPxT1GQXQseU9lu_z9GN1nyuGTsbbzxwT5ACJn9RkZGxIv0l0-AjxotjaLLQewfQvrqE_A2-1vprxQLdPqWXpVpmzzLCMEct6VSfi2jz-A65pk/s640/IMG_9462.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="427" data-original-width="640" height="268" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWTD__T7FR5wYOv29cBpEhH-zJyIckAdHAbUF9A5eWZBRc9BE2SayPYfRxbI71S5e2_oG6XCaSUJRTjzPxT1GQXQseU9lu_z9GN1nyuGTsbbzxwT5ACJn9RkZGxIv0l0-AjxotjaLLQewfQvrqE_A2-1vprxQLdPqWXpVpmzzLCMEct6VSfi2jz-A65pk/w400-h268/IMG_9462.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;"><div style="text-align: justify;">I just wish I had been somewhere high up because I had to take these shots looking up to the tree's. </div><div style="text-align: justify;">Below are the new Layering Rulers from WRMK that I got recently. They help you make even spaced mats for your cards. Something I struggled with before I had these. Each ruler has a raised line that you hold against your card, so you can cut using a scalpel or exacto knife. I hope my explanation doesn't confuse you, I am not good at explaining things. I am much better at showing you. Below is the finished card with 2 layers of matting. The bonus is, if you put the card on to the lavender card, and it is crooked, it doesn't matter because when you place the ruler against it, and cut, you get a straight line.</div></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: large;">The photo below shows my hand holding the ruler about to cut. Each raised line is there to hold the card from moving while you cut.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgio9IdsSl4_3L0W16MJ8s85j8aXXh9f2sHGF6GevbO33kApgceOGKJVEbviaQkKxcPhCPFprHNxonNQY_bCrzPt9jXJu0KH02_A9LvoA1jP-aHkDYNFxzMTVbTNcwCB8HWLAjdmGWlkzBt6DpbrSk9CpcijEotkrjcjXruCR-2eYQJB1eX7VT6snwWEl4/s640/IMG_20231208_180540%5B1%5D.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="640" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgio9IdsSl4_3L0W16MJ8s85j8aXXh9f2sHGF6GevbO33kApgceOGKJVEbviaQkKxcPhCPFprHNxonNQY_bCrzPt9jXJu0KH02_A9LvoA1jP-aHkDYNFxzMTVbTNcwCB8HWLAjdmGWlkzBt6DpbrSk9CpcijEotkrjcjXruCR-2eYQJB1eX7VT6snwWEl4/w400-h300/IMG_20231208_180540%5B1%5D.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><span style="font-size: large;"><div style="text-align: justify;">Below are the three rulers that you get in a pack. There's some sparkle on it which doesn't show up in this photo. There's also some colored sequins. I'm happy how this turned out! Sometimes you get a picture in your mind of how you want the card to be, and then it doesn't turn out how you imagined. Luckily, this one turned out right! I've had some cluster migraines lately, which has stopped me doing craft work. I am off to get an eye test just to check it isn't something more serious. Hope everyone is well and getting ready for Christmas?! Oh my gosh, how can it be almost Christmas?! Time has gone quickly i the last month. Thanks for dropping by, have a SUNSHINE day! I am loving the new stamps from Lavinia Stamps (Winter Whispers). To see some more beautiful Lavinia Stamps cards, hop over to my friend <a href="Snippets by Andrea">Andrea's</a> blog, she has some gorgeous cards she made. It's taken a long time, because Royal Mail in the UK put the wrong tracking label on my parcel after picking it up from Lavinia Stamps. For a week or so I was unable to track the parcel and kept getting a weird message. I got in touch with LS, and after many phone calls back and forth to Royal Mail, they admitted to LS that they had put the wrong tracking label on my parcel and it was going nowhere and was unable to be tracked. The lovely, and very efficient Annja from LS sorted it out for me and sent me a new parcel of stamps. They finally arrived late yesterday! Sorry for the long explanation! Any how, these are the first two cards I made late yesterday. The image on the card above is a bit of a challenge as the background is quite dark. The card below is quite sparkly, as I used a clear glitter pen on most of the image.</div></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKqP2X-Yr2AjF7GsQjA48ljy2djMMvc3sM2DXkqx1mBt4I52aRnN7mX2g-RWS6RLoW-Wp53q0tDeTJo5FcKKIOrbfTIIyDVA-gP5eefH10dmOPNDkKajA0w1ms8H6HG5U2ZyTiHllqW2Tixbm-EZcmsh9GuPd4R-cgw2E8ubNg03edle1ayoTYPd0bb8g/s640/IMG_9454.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="636" data-original-width="640" height="398" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKqP2X-Yr2AjF7GsQjA48ljy2djMMvc3sM2DXkqx1mBt4I52aRnN7mX2g-RWS6RLoW-Wp53q0tDeTJo5FcKKIOrbfTIIyDVA-gP5eefH10dmOPNDkKajA0w1ms8H6HG5U2ZyTiHllqW2Tixbm-EZcmsh9GuPd4R-cgw2E8ubNg03edle1ayoTYPd0bb8g/w400-h398/IMG_9454.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;"><div style="text-align: justify;">These are a few of the new LS stamps which were released at the end of October. Even though it is not finished, I decided to post it anyway. I am waiting on some stamps to arrive that have Christmas words. I used one of Lavinia Stamps Scene Scape's cards for the background, and stamped the sign, bird, holly and foliage on to that card. These Scene Scape's cards make awesome backgrounds, and make it quicker to make a card. There's lots of different designs and sizes too. I love them! I added some snow on the sign and Holly, using a white Signo gel pen. Thanks for dropping by, have a SUNSHINE day!
