Christmas Tree

I made this last year at a class I went to. Basically it is two pre-cut (you buy them in a pack of 6?) Xmas tree's. I stamped on the tree's using a back ground stamp (Stamp World Christmas Background H 741) first. Then stuck one to the green card. The other one I folded in half & glued just the centre to the first tree. Does that make sense? I used gold stickers for the corners of the green card & lines for the edge of the card. These were alot of fun to make! I love the green background paper, it is quite thick & has a 'bubbly' feel to it! I added a gold star brad to the top of the tree.

Butterflies for Christmas!

Ahhh, I love this card! I made it last year
for a friend of mine. I didn't get the stamp until just before Christmas, so I didn't have alot of time to 'play' with it & experiment. The butterflies are stamped on clear plastic. I curled he wings so they 'stood out' a bit. The stamp is from Rubbadubbadoo. The flower was stamped twice & cut out & layered using double sided sponge tape. I think I would like a card like this!! (Guess I could make myself one!)

Moonlit Night

This is a Stampscapes post card I did. I like the colours, bordering on a a violent storm maybe?!
I did this on white glossy card & just sponged the colours to get the effect I wanted. I enjoy Stampscapes stamps as they allow you to create 'emotions'. I don't use these stamps enough! Maybe after Christmas when things get a bit quiet! (Does that ever happen?!)

Quick & Easy Cards!

Ok, first of all, I apologise for these photo's & text being all over the place! :-( I don't know how to edit them so they are all nice & even...anyone who can help please let me know! Thanks!
These are the 40 cards I have made for my favourite bus driver! She asked me three days ago if I could make them for her...this is what I did! I used different cuttlebug embossing folders to do them. Snowflake, Sledding & Textile Texture I think. Wish they had one with Merry Christmas written all over it! What you can't see is they have a bit of sparkly Kindy Glitz on them. Ok, so THAT'S what I've been up to for the last few days!
I am waiting patiently (ok, so maybe not so patiently sometimes!!) for my Nesties to arrive...the postman gets harassed by me every day lately! Keep the bills, just bring me my nestabilities, PLEASE!!

Hapiness Is...

...Just gotta tell ya...my Nestabilities are ON THEIR WAY to me as I type this!! I am soooooooo happy!!! :-) Thank you Pauline!! I will be 'dreaming' about Nestabilities tonight...
That's all I have to say for today! I am busy making 50 Xmas cards for my fave bus driver, Judie. She asked me if I would make them for her to give to her passengers. She's such a nice lady I said "yes"!
Got to go, sorry there's nothing to "see"! Watch this space...

The Day Care Kids!

This is "Alfie" (Sealpoint Birman) & "Lily" (Lilac point Birman).
They live next door to me, but come to me every day, during the day! I love them as if they were my own! "Miss Lily" is full of mischief & when she is inside with me, she never leaves my side. If I go to the kitchen...she goes to the kitchen! She is like my little shadow! They are both almost 2 years old in a few months time. Their mum & dad (the real ones!) call me "Day Care Mum" because I look after them during the day while they are at work! Cute huh! As I said, I just adore these two! I made this for a present for their real mum as it is her birthday in 2 days time! I don't see as much of Alfie as I do of Lily. Alfie does his own thing, but he does like to come & sleep away the day in my bed sometimes! Lily likes to "help" me make cards etc & would be over the moon if I would let her type! Alas & alack, she cannot spell!! But she is allowed to get up on my office chair & sit behind me! If I tap my shoulder she will stretch up & kiss my neck or my ear for me! I taught her to do this!
They go home at night & more often than not, I have to pass Lily over the fence as she does not want to go home! They certainly keep me entertained with their high jinx!
I got the idea for this photo frame from the Summer 2007 - 2008 Mini Catalogue from Stampin' Up. YES! I have found me an SU demonstrator & she only lives a few minutes from here! Woohoo! I have just ordered a round tab punch & some stamps from her today!

My Christmas Tree!

Ok, I haven't actually stamped anything today - busy day with friends dropping by. But! Those little candy purses I made the other day are now happily hanging on my Christmas tree, so I thought I would share these photo's with you! Don't they look cute! And when I get hungry..I can EAT them!! How cool is that!
