"Witch" Way Up?!

 I saw a card like this on Pinterest and thought I would make one.  The witches legs and boots are a set of three dies I have.  I am not sure whose they are, possibly "Impression Obsession", but that's just a guess.  I've had them for about two years and no longer have the packet they came in. I put some gold card (it looks yellow in this photo!) behind the legs, and randomly added some tiny gems for a bit of "bling".  So much fun!  I hand drew the black border as well as the words.  I don't know who made the card on Pinterest, but if it is your card, or you know who made it, let me know so I can give you credit!  Thanks:-)

Unicorn Card!

 I was inspired to make this Unicorn card after seeing a gorjuss (and funny!) Unicorn card on Andreas blog yesterday!  Hop on  over to her blog (click on her name) and have a look at what she has been up to.  I check her blog daily because I am always inspired by her art work.  This Unicorn was a $5 die set from "Spotlight", for those Kiwis reading this.  She was so much fun to make and embellish!  I hand drew her eyelashes very carefully with a fine tipped Rotring Tikky Graphic pen.  In reality the card is much brighter and more sparkly than it shows  here, jeez I hate that😠

Christmas (Cards) In July!

I made these two Christmas cards last week, but never got to post them.  The stamp is from Woodware in the UK. As you can see it takes up most of the front of the card, which is partly why I like it.  

I had been looking for a large Christmas word stamp and came across this one.  I like the style of writing as well as the actual sentiment.  You can see the stamp itself, below.  I haven't been well, which is why I haven't posted anything for awhile.  As well as that, I woke up one morning to find some stranger parked inside my property, up close to the house, with the gate closed behind them.  It was about 6 am, so it was still dark, and I had opened the curtain and saw a car parked up close to the house.  Not knowing who it was, I called the Police, who came and escorted them off my property.  It was scary, not knowing how long they had been there, or who it was, and had they been prowling around the house or what. Apparently they had parked their car around 10 pm the night before and gone to sleep. I imagine they would have got a fright being woken up by the Police.   Serves them right, because it gave me one hell of a scare.

These two photos below are of a drone the Council were using to find where the drains are before digging.  I had the perfect view of it because it was right at my front gate!  It was interesting talking to the guys and finding out how they take the photos and then kind of "stitch" it together to make one photo.  Very similar to what I do with Photo Stitch on my Canon camera.  The launching/landing pad for the drone was right at my gate!

You Are Pawsome!

 Here's a card I made this morning.  The cat and bird stamp is an old stamp I have had for a long time.  It is a block and has four different cat pictures on it.  The cats nose has a tiny bit of Nuvo Crystal Drops om it to give it some dimension.  There are also some blue NCD's on the birds wing.  And, yep, there's some sequins on there too! The words are from the stamp set below.

Black White and Silver

 The silver on this card looks dull on here, but it is really shiny in real life. I'm not sure if I like it or not:-(  In my head, while I was making it, it had the "WOW" factor.  But once it was  made it kind of had the "yeah, ok" factor! I Hate Winter!

 I made the card above today, I struggled with it because it is so cold and my fingers were sore and frozen.😐  I just can't work with frozen fingers!  Just over a month into Winter and I have had enough!  We had our hottest summer on record last summer, and now we have had the coldest June on record!  If it is going to be this cold, I want snow with it!  

Below is a stamp set I got off ebay late last year.  I think it arrived around the same time as I had my surgery, and I never used it as I wasn't well.

The only reason I am not blogging much, is because it's so cold.  I have Reynauds and so my blood circulation is terrible.  Winter drives me insane because I WANT to make cards, but my hands are so sore and frozen that I struggle to do anything.  Anyone got a spare pair of hands in good working order they don't want...please send them my way!!
