Potted Tree

This a a Hero Arts stamp. I stamped it on white card then cut out a pink "pot" to fit over the stamped pot bit. I also stamped & cut out the leaves (in green) & stuck these over the stamped leaves. I tied a piece of string in a knot & stuck it to the pot. Lastly I added the paper flowers which I punched out using small flower punches. This card was fun to make! I also added some eyelets to the side of the red card.
Thanks for visiting today!

Japanese Lady

I used one of my cuttlebug embossing folders on some multi coloured plastic stuff (I forget what it's called) for the background, then stuck it to some pale apricot card. I stamped the inverted scallop circle (Hero Arts) on some lime green card using eggplant ink & cut it out. Then I stamped the Japanese lady onto some white card & colored her with markers. I cut her out using a circle nestie. Then I cut out a slightly larger scallop circle in lime green & stuck the inverted scallop circle with the lady onto the lime green scallop circle. I added Kindy Glitz & some gems & a pearl for her ear ring. This looks better IRL!

Ginger Bread Lady

Here is a little Christmas card I made using the Labels Four nestabilities - can't stop playing with them! I stamped the ginger bread lady onto brown card using black ink. Cut her out & stuck her to a red piece of card & cut around that, leaving a little t showing. Then I put the eyelets on the buttons & the heart. Then I stuck her to the green card, cut out using Labels four nesties. I then cut out (on a folded card) the pale green card using my nesties - curved rectangles. Added Kindy Glitz (you know the story..) oh yes, and the tiny green bow! Another fun card!

Have A Great Trip!

These are some new un-mounted stamps I got recently. I don't know which company they are made by as there is no name on them. They are two separate stamps, they came with some words.
The space ship & helmets all have Dimensional Magic on them. I glued wobbly eyes on the two dudes in the space ship! I also split some string for the exhaust fumes & glued it under the spaceship!
Had n making this card! Thanks for visiting!

Box of Cards

I made these about a month or so ago, for a very dear friend of mine, Rosy, who lives in Illinois. I bought the box then came home & made the cards. I used my Stampin' Up round tab punch for the tabs & some off cuts off white card from another project. (I always save my scraps!) They were the perfect size for the box! Rosy is writing positive words & phrases on the cards, something to make her smile each day! They were alot of fun to make!

"Jewels" # 2

Here is yet another card I made using "Hippy Girl Jewels"! This time I used the Labels Four nesties - I just loooooove these!! They remind me of an antique mirror!
The flower gem in her hair is pink but is showing up as silver. I used some paper flowers & some tiny nail gems (for your fingernails) that I found somewhere. Because the nestie shapes were a bit wider than the burgundy card, I added a piece of embossed card to the side. (Did the same on the inside of the card.) I used my cuttlebug folders to emboss them. (Flower strips) As per usual (for me!) I added Kindy Glitz to parts of the image! Oh yes, & around the edges of the nesties. Can't wait to use these nesties again! Thanks to Rebecca Bodini (Bizzy Becs) for the inspiration!!:-) Thanks for visiting & I hope everyone has a great weekend. It's gong to be a wet one here in Titirangi - perfect for stamping?!! See ya..

"Jewels"

Oh my gosh..I made a card!! The stamp is called "Hippy Girl Jewels" & she is from Bizzy Becs.
The card was inspired by Bec herself, I saw a similar coloured card she had made & it got me inspired!
I used my Mega Curved Nesties for the three layers of card. After stamping the image I sponged the background with a pale lilac stamp pad. The image is coloured with my Copics. I added stick on pearls & a heart shaped eyelet for her belt buckle! The gold swirls on the corners are made with an EK Success punch. (Wave Flourish I think?!) I coloured some paper flowers with my Copics to get the colours I wanted & added a star shaped eyelet to the center then stuck them to the card. I also drew some white & pink dotted lines around the 3 nestie shapes. I used a folded pale lilac card for the background card. I added white dots on "Jewels" eyes to make them show up more. The last thing I added was some Kindy glitz...can't make a card without that stuff!! Phew, I think that is all I did...except stand back & admire it for ten minutes & have a cup of well earned tea!! Thanks for visiting!

Yippee, I'm Back!

Ok, so I am back! This isn't a stamping project, but hey, it's my blog so I can do what I like, right?!!
I made this using an old tea cup & saucer, some wire & a couple of toothbrushes - mine!
I filled the cup with Plaster of Paris & made a couple of wire 'spirals', making sure they fit my toothbrushes! I pushed them into the POP then hot glued the cup to the saucer. Once the POP had set, I hot glued a large white silk flower to the top of the cup. I cut two slits on either side so it fit over the wire spirals. I then hot glued some beads to the center of the flower & it was done! This was a FUN project & I know I will be making more! I have made similar things before but made the wire bits to hold three photo's. Easy Peasy!
I had the "creative urge" but didn't feel like stamping.
I now know why I have been feeling so utterly exhausted - very low Thyroid levels, so once that is taken care of I HOPE to be back MORE OFTEN on here! Please don't give up on me! Have a great day/evening! See you again soon!
