The Gardener Falls Into The Cucumbers and Two Birds!

I thought I would post something cute & funny today, so...
The two cute birds are on top of corks that you put in wine bottles. Mine sit on a tin by my Tea House! I think they are cute!
The gardener int he cucumbers is also on a cork, but she sits amongst my fruit & vegies from my garden!
Thanks for visiting:-)

My Little Tea House and Tea Pot

Box of Cards

I made these about a month or so ago, for a very dear friend of mine, Rosy, who lives in Illinois. I bought the box then came home & made the cards. I used my Stampin' Up round tab punch for the tabs & some off cuts off white card from another project. (I always save my scraps!) They were the perfect size for the box! Rosy is writing positive words & phrases on the cards, something to make her smile each day! They were alot of fun to make!

Yippee, I'm Back!

Ok, so I am back! This isn't a stamping project, but hey, it's my blog so I can do what I like, right?!!
I made this using an old tea cup & saucer, some wire & a couple of toothbrushes - mine!
I filled the cup with Plaster of Paris & made a couple of wire 'spirals', making sure they fit my toothbrushes! I pushed them into the POP then hot glued the cup to the saucer. Once the POP had set, I hot glued a large white silk flower to the top of the cup. I cut two slits on either side so it fit over the wire spirals. I then hot glued some beads to the center of the flower & it was done! This was a FUN project & I know I will be making more! I have made similar things before but made the wire bits to hold three photo's. Easy Peasy!
I had the "creative urge" but didn't feel like stamping.
I now know why I have been feeling so utterly exhausted - very low Thyroid levels, so once that is taken care of I HOPE to be back MORE OFTEN on here! Please don't give up on me! Have a great day/evening! See you again soon!

Tea With You!

This is a little folder I made that has a tea bag inside. I used my scorpal to make the folds.
I used my nesties for the scallop shape which I cut out of some vellum I had. The words are copied from a similar item that a friend bought for $4.50 - I said WE can MAKE those, and we did!! I glued a little teapot button on the flap. I used a small strip of tape to hold the flap closed.
Easy-peasy & lot's of fun!
Thanks for visiting:-)

Scrapbooking Drawers

Just thought I'd blog my new scrapbooking drawers! I don't actually do alot of scrapbooking but these are great to keep my card & paper in! At least now I can find stuff quickly & easily! Each shelf pulls right out so you can have the shelves deeper if you like. They are really cool & at a really cool price! And only just around the corner from me! Talk about convenient! They make all kinds of neat shelving etc.

Space Station

Well this is doesn't have a photo & it isn't a card...but I am so excited:-)We just watched the Space Station in the sky, as it passed over New Zealand. I first saw it about an hour ago & rushed next door to my neighbours to tell them to come outside & see it:-) So there we are, standing on the pavement (it was dark & the street lights were on) looking up at the sky:-) I am sure all the cars were wondering what we were looking at:-) Anyway, it was really exciting to see it as it isn't something you see every day, & it was so clear:-) We were lucky to see it for about an hour or so. Ok, bed time for me now...
