Bus Versus Car = Crash!

I've just photographed yet another car crash! The yellow car above had some battery problems and had temporarily parked at the end of the bus stop.   I was waiting for the bus to come home and seen the car come to a halt at the traffic lights.  They pushed the car into the bus stop until help arrived.
Along comes the bus (the one I was waiting for) and as he went passed the parked yellow car, he hit the back of it and these are the scrape marks along the entire length of the bus!  With no "real" camera with me, I pulled my mobile phone out that has a camera and took these photo's.

I was surprised at how many scrape marks were along the bus.  From front bumper to the back of the bus was marked.
The bus driver wasn't happy and when the driver of the yellow car approached him, it seemed like he was trying to deny he had hit the car.  With four witnesses (I was one!) he couldn't deny it.

Here is the front of the yellow car - no number plate...and on the back of the car was a dealership number plate..
...and here (below)you can see he doesn't have a warrant of fitness for the car, so it shouldn't even be on the road!  The blank white piece of paper is where the current W.O.F would normally be.  The car was not in good shape, and the photo above shows 2 big cracks where the number plate should be. From what I could see it was a BMW.  I hope the driver didn't buy the car, and if he did I hope he got his money back!  You bought a dud, dude!

This is the back of  the car where the bus hit it.  A mashed light and a bit o a dent.  Luckily no-one was injured and both parties exchanged insurance information.

How are you going to explain this to the boss?!
For such a small "crash", the bus has a lot of scrapes along it!
So who was at fault?  The bus hit the car - four witnesses saw it happen.  The car was parked with it's back end out toward oncoming traffic because the battery had died in the middle of an intersection.  But was the car roadworthy??  No number plate and no warrant or registration.  Were both drivers in the wrong??  No idea!
The bus was held up for about 15 minutes while everyone swapped names and addresses etc, and then we boarded the bus and I was on my way home!  I am packing my Canon camera in my hand bag and taking it every time I go out from now on!  I see car crashes and other incidents all the time and I want to capture them on my proper camera! Lesson learnt, Sunshine!!
Enjoy your day!  Thanks for dropping by, {HUGS} from me to YOU:-)

A New Day!

After many years of being in a lot of pain from Osteo Arthritis in my hips, I have finally had some good news this morning!  I have been told I will be seeing an anesthesiologist about the pain and what they can do to help!! I am not sure if this will mean a hip replacement or what. My  mobility is not good and is getting less and less. I can barely get to my local supermarket to do grocery shopping, and often have to get a friend to help.  Getting on and off buses while you are in pain and carrying your groceries is not fun! I can't bend down to pick things up if I drop them because of the pain. I can't stand/sit for very long because of the constant pain.  I don't sleep well or for very long because of the pain.  And getting out to do any photography is not easy... but I try! (Watch this space next week because I am going with a friend to the Brazillian Festival this Saturday, pain or no bloody pain, and we are going to DANCE!!  I may be on crutches after that!)
You will have noticed I haven't been doing much crafting either, this is because of the pain:-(
I am unable to take anything stronger than Paracetamol for the pain.  I have a lot of food and drug allergies, so pain relief has been challenging.  I take 6 Paracetamol a day and it doesn't even touch the pain.  I also take Magnesium at night to relax my muscles.
So it was good news to hear about my appointment this morning!  Not sure when it is but I will get the appointment via the mail...I can hardly wait! So yes, it's a new day...
Thanks for dropping in and sharing in my good news!  {HUGS} from me to YOU:-)

An Almost Full Moon!

This is the almost full moon recently.  I think I took this photo about 10.40pm.  I was lucky there was no cloud, so I was able to get some clear photos.  I took some more photos the next night as well.  Because it is summer and it was a hot humid evening, I was outside in my shorts and a very light sleeveless summer top.  Well, the mozzies just LOVED all my bare skin, and by the time I came inside I was covered from head to toe in multiple mozzie bites:(  I am slightly allergic to the bites and came up in huge big lumps the size of my hand.  That will teach me (I hope!) to cover up when I go outside at night!  It was worth it though to get some good shots.

A Little Box of Sunshine!

I made this little box using the Sizzix Thinlits Plus Matchbox die.  The size of the box is approximately 3 3/4 inches in length, and 2 1/2 inches in width.  It is a set of nine dies and is really easy to use and make the box!  The blue lace strip is made from one of the dies in the set.
The sunshine stamp is from a company called Azadi Earles, and I bought it from Rubber Stamp Rendezvous in Rockford Illinois when I was there.  It's a stamp I have always loved:-)  I hand cut the sunshine out and stuck it to the box.  I used some Nuvo Crystal Drops in Bubblegum colour for the hearts/cheeks. Another product I really love right now!  That's amazing stuff and I got mine not long before Christmas, so I was able to use it on some of my Christmas cards. I stamped some sunshines (a stamp I designed some years ago) onto some circles I had die cute and put them into the box.

Birthday Card

This is a birthday card I just finished, it looks a bit washed out here:-(  IRL the colours are MUCH brighter.  I might try to photograph it on a different setting. I have made a few cards this year, but forgot to photograph them before I sent them:-( I seem to do this every New Year!  I'm not making many cards at the moment but will post them when I do!
When I came home this afternoon, this is how I found the cats!  Bella is ok if Romeo is one 'cat space' away from her!  If he gets any closer there is trouble!
Thank you for visiting, and I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and have a fabulous 2017!  {HUGS} from me to YOU:-)
