I made this card using my Gel Press. Once the paint was dry (it dries in a few minutes) I stamped the words (Quietfire Designs) and added some bits of grass as well. I also added some self adhesive gold sequins (Close To My Heart), and the gold lines and corners. I glued two Angel wings above the words. This was a fun card to make!
Above and below are some more Gel Press images I did this morning. The one above is very pretty in real life, and the stamp is another Quietfire Designs stamp.
These butterfly images were done in white paint on black card. I really like how they turned out and I will make them into cards, or maybe bookmarks. I used a butterfly stencil for the pattern.
Here they are close up. Lot's of fun and I get different patterns each time.
I took this photo below, yesterday. These are Watercress, and Cress seeds. The larger ones are the Cress seeds. The very tiny dot ones you can barely see are Watercress.
And here, below, are the same seeds 24 hours later! You can see the Cress ones have actually burst open and have little tendrils growing! I used a close up lens to take these photo's, otherwise the seeds would have been too small to see well. These are growing so quickly! I have them growing on a damp/wet paper towel. I sit them in the sun during the day so they get some warmth. My two cats are very interested in what mom is growing! I seriously doubt they will eat Watercress, but they like to check them out!
I haven't done much crafting lately as I am busy doing my third Psychology course and it takes up some of my crafting time. But I am doing little bits of crafting here and there!
Thanks for dropping by, have a SUNSHINE day! {HUGS} from me to YOU:-)
I do like your gel press experiments. Seems like you are having fun and getting some good results.
