Christmas In January?!

I've just finished making these Christmas cards.  I have to admit, I CASED Andrea's cards she made like this. I just loved how hers turned out and decided to make my own!  Mine are somewhat different to hers, but kind of the same.  Please click on Andrea's name and check out her blog.

For the card above I used a Stampin' Up! stamp set, "Christmas Happiness" to stamp the pine bough, pine cones and words.  I die cut a label to stamp the words on. Once I had stamped all the cards, I felt that they needed "something else" to finish them.  So I added the gold/white sequin things.  They aren't actually sequins, but I don't know what else to call them!

 The cards are all the same, but different, if you know what I mean!  I also stamped inside the cards, but forgot to photograph that!  Maybe in another post!

The brown coloured card is Stampin' Up! but I do;t know which colour it is!  The white card is the $2 stuff I buy from the Blind Foundation.  It is perfect for stamping on😊

The white dots/snow is Hero Arts "Unicorn" pigment ink. I LOVE that ink, it is so white and it's a really nice wet stamp pad!

Stamping On Wooden Blocks

 I've been taking some of my stamps off their wooden blocks so I can use them as unmounted on my Stamp Tool.  What to do with the wooden blocks??  I sanded them to get rid of any residual glue/marks, and then I stamped on them!  These are what I have done so far.

Above and below are the front and back of one of the blocks.   

Below is a wooden coaster I stamped on.  Easy and fun to do!

A Gift For Someone Special.

I recently met someone who is going through a traumatic event at the moment. It was unexpected and was a big shock to them.  So I made this card, envelope, and star for them.

 The two stamps are "Quietfire Designs" and they just had a 50% off sale.  These are two of the stamps I go from them.
