Welcome Wizard!

I made these cards using my Spellbinder Fleur-de-lis Pendant die cuts and new Spellbinder Wizard machine!! I cased the idea from here (Yvonnes blog) and if you want to see some AMAZING cards, go & check out her blog! Wow! I was blown away by the gorgeous things she has made & was SO inspired I had to make two of her cards!! I came across her work on SCS & then hopped on over t0 her blog & I am soooooo glad I did! Thank you for the inspiration Yvonne!
I have been waiting several months for my beloved Wizard to arrive & after a couple of hiccups...he's here! Boy! Have I been having FUN with that thing! I absolutely ADORED my Cuttlebug & it is a fantastic machine..but I got to the stage I where I wanted to do more than the CB could do. So I took the plunge & got me a Wizard! It is easy peasy to use & you can not only cut & emboss bu t you can use brass stencils in it - they look awesome as the Wizard has a 3000 pound pressure which is much more than the CB has. So the embossing etc is much deeper & more crisp. Even flat plastic stencils will emboss! No longer to I have to fluff around with a lightbox or trace round my stencils, they just go straight through the Wizard! I embossed some foil using the Fiskars embossing plates - wow! Looks great! Embossing coins is a breeze, as is small charms & buttons etc! The list goes on..
Ok, so I hope you are having a great day, & thanks for visiting:-)

Yippee, It's Thursday!

I don't know why I am so excited it's Thursday?! Anyhow, here are two cards I forgot to upload before. The green & orange one is using a Stampin' Up stamp set & card. Love those colours, yumm!
Now the Snowman card is sort of my design! It's like this, I saw a rubber stamp with the perspective of looking down on the snowman. Now, me believing I am Martha Stewart's Apprentice & can do anything I put my hands to, I decided to actually use my nestabilities to create a 3d card of the snowman..and here it is!! Believe me chicky-babes, it looks a 1,000 x's better IRL!! I hate it when that happens:-( When I look at that snowman I almost feel as if I am going to fall on top of him! (He really would be flat then!)

Anyway, hope you like him & thanks for visiting! {{HUGS}} from me to you:-)

Thursday's Cards..Made Three Days Ago!

Well Hello Guys & Dolls! My hands have not been idle these last few days, I have just been lazy/busy (take your pick!) I can assure you chicky-babes I am always at my desk dabbling! I "create" everyday, even if it is just decorating an envelope! I thank you in advance for not giving up on me when I don't upload something on a daily basis, sometimes I just can't do that:-)
Right now I am bang smack in the middle of some legal stuff over someone in authority who was given a large sum of money to pay a certain bill when it was required & whom did not pay the bill in full & is now telling BIIIIIIIIIg lies as to why they did not (and should not have to) pay the bill in total. For legal reasons I cannot say any more. It's stressful but the truth always comes out in the end.
I don't have a Law degree to hide behind, but I do have the truth...
Thanks for visiting, {{HUGS}} from me to you:-)

February's Special Cards

Phew! That was a marathon effort getting all those uploaded, but they are there now! The challenge now is to find a nice l o n g box to keep them all in! I prefer to have them like this rather than make them into a book.
Ok, that's me for today! Thank you for visiting & I hope you have a fab weekend! {{Hugs}} from me to you:-)

Some (Late) Valentine Day Cards

I used a House Mouse stamp for both of these, as well as a Valentines word stamp. This mobile is a bit shorter than the other one (see below). The red hearts on this one are sort of soft & puffy, I have no idea where I got them from. Thanks for dropping by & have a great week! {{HUGS}} from me to you:-)

Valentine Stuff

This card (above) was made using an old Stampin' Up set I have had for some years, one of my faves!
The bird card is embossed with a cuttlebug folder & the birds are from a die I have.

This is another cuttlebug embossing folder, it has butterflies on it. Hard to see, but the butterflies have glitter on them. Much better IRL! White cards are always a challenge to photograph:-( but I try!

This is a hanging mobile I made for a friend. Each heart was about 3 inches high, so the mobile is quite long. I used my nesties for the heart shapes.

This was my tea leaves in the bottom of my cup, just before Valentines Day! When I looked in the bottom of the cup, there was this big heart shape!! The cup is quite a tall cup & the tail of the heart went right up the cup! I just had to take a photo of it!
Thanks fro visiting today, hope your day is going well! {{HUGS}} from me to you:-)
