 Well this is different!  Not a Katzelkraft nor a Snarky Cat, but still a cat!  This cat (and broomstick) are some of the dies from "Tim Holtz Toil and Trouble" die set.  Love that mouse hanging onto the broomstick! I think he is going to feature in a lot more of my cards!

Rupert's Dilemma."

 

This is "Rupert", and he has no social life.  He does have a mouse though.

He's not sure where it came from, but he thinks "The Cat" bought it in.

He doesn't like mice very much so it's going out in the trash.

"Rupert" wishes he was going out.  He wishes he was going further than just to the trach can. He's all dressed up and nowhere to go.

*Sigh*. Maybe tomorrow.

So, at the moment I am at home in self isolation because Auckland has seven cases of Covid19 in the community.  It's the Delta variant and because my immune system is not good, I need to isolate.  We'd had no community cases for 170 days.

We're in lockdown for the next 6 days, and I hope it doesn't go any longer than that.

Hello, I'm Flossie!

Meet Flossie. She's a new girl on the block!  She is very excited...

She is one of my new KatzelKraft stamps which arrived in the mail today!  I buy them from a great company called "Krafters Craft" here in New Zealand.  Meetu (the owner) works single handedly and does and amazing job getting orders out.  I made this card and have put it on the Krafters Cart Face Book page.

These cats remind me of the Snarky Cats, and get up to the same kind of mischief.  Look out for more of them coming soon to my blog!

Mabel is NOT Drunk.

Mabel has had a hard day.  She has no idea how the antlers ended up on her head.  She's turned to the 'drink' - the hard stuff. 

Pure cows milk.  Homogenized and past-your-eyes.  She doesn't know where the milk came from either.  She's in a bad way.

So she's not drunk just confused.  And blinded by the flash on my camera.

I'm feeling a bit like Mabel today. I had my first Covid vaccine a couple of days ago and am experiencing some very unpleasant side effects from it. I was very unwell last night and had to call an Ambulance about 3 am.  They got me back on track, but I am very tired as I didn't get much sleep at all last night.  Maybe I will stick some antlers on my head like Mabel, drink some milk and feel better?  We'll see.

The Red Bauble On My Head

Poor Felicity is in a bit of a pickle. She has found herself in the Christmas Pantomime.  She's not happy. She wanted a much bigger role. She doesn't want to be one of Santa's reindeer, leave that to Rudolph, he's the one with the red nose.  All Felicity has is a red Christmas bauble.  It's so demeaning, obviously the casting director doesn't know who she is. And those antlers.  Shameful. Embarrassing.

And itchy. 

She is sure they've given her fleas.

Oh the shame of it all.  

 Pass her the flea powder...

My first post for awhile, as I've had a sore throat and felt like, well, you know!

I have some new cat stamps coming soon.  Not "Snarky Cats," but very similar and just as hilarious!  My intuition tells me they will get into as much mischief as the Snarkys do!
