Beautiful Peacock Card!

I made this Peacock card using a stamp set I got recently, form Andrea.  I love the simplicity and elegance of the stamp set.  I also like that I can stamp each stamp in a colour and that means I don't have to sit there and colour everything in.  I'm not big on colouring in at the moment!
Above is the Stampin' Up! stamp set I used.  Thank you Andrea!  Of course, you can use the flourish stamps for other things rather than a Peacock.  I am sure I will try that out soon!
Above is a Christmas card I made, als using a Stampin' Up! stamp (mug) and die.  I haven't used the is stamp/die set for ages, so it was fun to dust it off and make a card with the mug stamp/die!  I stuck the "Believe" onto the card using some stuff Andrea gave me.  It's sheets of sticky stuff and you just rub your die cut on it and then carefully lift the die cut off the sticky sheet and then  you can put it on your card.  Easy peasy and NO sticky bits on your card, and no fiddling around trying to get ultra tiny drops of glue onto you die cut.  Love it!
Ok, that's all for now.  Thanks for dropping by, have a SUNSHINE day!  {HUGS} from me to YOU:-)

Mini Post-It-Note Holder

I made this little post-it-note holder today.  I punched out the Owl using a Stampin' Up! punch and added him to the front.  The note holder closes with the pink/purple elastic.  Lot's of fun to make! Below is the note holder closed.
The photo below shows the note holder open.  It measures 2 3/4 inches tall by 2 inches wide.  Great way to use up your scrap pieces of card!

New Card!

Here is the first card I have made using some of the things Andrea sent me yesterday!  Below are the Stampin' Up! Textured Impressions Embossing folder and the SU It-Adorning Accents die I used.
The embossing folder and die gives the card a nice fancy edge, instead of just being straight.

Wow!!  I was totally blown away when I opened this earlier today.  All of this is from Andrea, a blogging friend in Minnesota USA.  She had emailed me a couple of weeks ago, ad asked if she could send me a box of craft goodies that hadn't sold at her recent yard sale.  She then sent me another email itemizing the things she was going to send me, to make sure I didn't already have them in my craft stash.
Then she posted the box to me and it arrived this morning!!  It's all spread out all over my art desk right now, and I have been oohing and ahhing over everything and just dabbling with things.  I haven't actually made a card yet.  A HUGE thank you to Andrea for being such a kind and generous person 💖  I am still smiling and have been for the last four plus hours!!  Please check Andreas blog, just click o her name and it will take you to her blog.
Ok, that's me for today...got to go and 'play' with my new toys!  Thanks for dropping by, have a SUNSHINE DAY!!  {hugs}from me to YOU:-)

So Sad.

As much as I love all my crafting tools - paper, card, stamps, dies, punches, inks etc, I have to admit, crafting takes up a huge amount of my time, and I struggle  to  get everyday tasks done, such as cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping, and keeping my home clean and tidy.
Something has to go, so I am re-homing my entire collection.
Please don't ask me any questions, as I find it too emotional to talk about.  (Thank you for understanding)
Below is a list of things I am getting rid of.  Everything is FREE to approved homes only.  Serious inquiries only please.
Vacuum Cleaner
Broom
Oven
Microwave
Refrigerator
Washing Machine
Dust Pan and Brush
Dusting cloths
Laundry Basket
Toilet Cleaners
Sponges
Mop
Dish Washing Liquid
Laundry Powder
Rubber Gloves
Toilet Brush
Window Cleaner
Scrubbing Brushes
Bucket
Fabric softener
Multiple Cleaning Cloths.
Now I can get on with the serious and important things in life, the things that make me HAPPY  = CRAFTING!!!
Enjoy your day...I am!

More Owl Bookmarks!

"Owl Be Seeing You!"

.
I started making these bookmarks yesterday afternoon.  I finished them today!
First of all I die cut the actual bookmark in various colours.
Then I punched out all the scallop circles.  Each bookmark has two scallop circles held together using sponge tape to give it some   .
Then I punched out all the owls in various colours.  I didn't overthink what colours to use because I get too obsessed with matching the colours, and it takes "time!"  I mostly used scrap card.
Next I punched out the dresses for each owl using scrap paper.
I punched put the leaves using my SU Bird punch.  Next came the tiny heart on each Owl.  That is from the Owl punch.
I did the bookmarks in batches because I find it easier to do a batch of cards etc rather than one at a time.  Especially when I am making lots of the same thing.
I stamped a small sentiment on the lower part of each bookmark using my Tim Holtz stamp platform.  Oh boy, the platform makes my life a whole lot easier and makes ME a whole lot happier than if I had to stamp each sentiment and hoping I got it straight and inked well the first time!!  I don't know how I managed before I had the platform!  The amount of times I stamped something and it wasn't inked enough...and of course, trying to re-stamp it by hand did not work at all!  So thank you Tim Holtz, you made my (crafting) life so much easier!
I was going to stamp a Christmas sentiment on some of these but found this one instead, and it fits perfectly and is suitable for all occasions! (I hope!)
Below are all the (25) bookmarks packed into cellophane bags, ready to be sold, and added to peoples Christmas cards!
My hands are very sore, mostly my thumbs, but it was so worth it!  I 'heart' to stamp/craft!!
Have an awesome weekend and thanks for dropping by! have a SUNSHINE day! {HUGS} from me to YOU:-)
