A Nice Meal...

Top photo is of my boy, Romeo-Valentino.  He is sitting on top of some of my craft dies, which are in the box!  He really doesn't fit...and he doesn't look comfortable!  His motto is: "If I sits I fits"!
Below are two Christmas Snarkys, "Bill" and "Bob".
I know, this card below with "Bill" on, has a crooked border, sigh. I used some new and very sticky double sided tape to stick it down.  It went crooked.  Too late, it was s.t.u.c.k.  Oh well, I'm sure I have a slightly 'crooked' friend to send it to!
Two cards, the same but different.  This one below is "Bob".  They have both gotten into the Christmas spirit, or is it they have both gotten in to trouble?  The tree's are made with some of that foil card, the stuff that is s**t to photograph.  But in real life it looks really good!

I have a bit of a cold at the moment, and haven't felt like crafting very much.  Managed to throw these two cards together over the weekend though.
Thanks for dropping by, have a SUNSHINE day!  Remember to always be your authentic self, and shine bright each and every day!  (Even when you have a cold!)

"Just Ride It," They Said...

So here's Snarky Fred, trying surfing for the first (and probably the last) time.  He's not a happy little vegemite.  He hates surfing.  He hates dancing and he hates attitude.
He has 'issues'.  We're sorting it. He's in therapy.
I wonder what he'll get up to next?
I used a coloured ice block stick, a wide one this time, for his surf board. I cut it down so it was a better length for him.
Once again I used the wave embossing folder (details about it in the post below this) for the background.  I love this folder!
I swiped a silver Brilliance ink pad over it to give it the look of white water from the waves.
Ok that's it for today. I am in a lot of pain right now - Fibromyalgia - and I need to go and take some pain killers and go and lie down.
Thanks for dropping by, have a SUNSHINE day!

Hendrix Has A Meltdown!

Oh dear.  Looks like Hendrix Snarky can't control his water-ski's.  He's in a bit of trouble for sure.
I can't imagine why he thought water-skiing was a good idea.  Something is going break...
His body language says it all really.
I made his 'ski's' from two ice-block sticks - I have all kinds of weird stuff in my craft room!  I made the 'waves' using a Memory Box 3D Texture Embossing Folder EF1013.
I swiped a white ink pad lightly over some of the waves, and added a little bit of Crystalline Glitter Glue on some of the waves.
I love this folder!
I have another Snarky sitting on my desk just waiting to be assembled. Hopefully I can get him finished and posted later today.  Make sure you check back later to see him!

How I Pay For My Addiction...

OMG! Two cards in one day!
Before I get on to the card, I have to tell you, something terrible happened.  I mean, really terrible. It happens often, and it's so annoying.  I almost passed out.
What was it?  Well...I was forced to stop crafting.
Hunger got the better of me and then I realized.  It was lunch time!  Actually it was way past lunchtime b then.
Yes, I had to stop crafting to make lunch!  Of course, The Kidz wanted lunch as well, so that took up more of my crafting time. Then I had an important email to attend to...time went by.
So on with the card.  As you can see, "Trixie" has been forced to take up pole dancing to pay for her catnip habit.
I know the feeling.  Not that I have a catnip habit...
I'd pay big money to see her pole dancing!
My thoughts are though, I think she needs a much stronger pole.  Imagine if she flew off the pole.  Maybe not.
Ok, so that's it for today.  The sun is fading fast - it's almost 4 pm Monday for me.  Today is the shortest day and the longest night.
Thank you for dropping by, have a SUNSHINE day!  Remember to always be your authentic self, and shine bright each and every day!

Pease Come In!

Woohoo, here's my card for today!  What you can't see, is there's a clear mylar printed with the same jar, over top of the jar stamp.
Trust me, it's there!  I stamped the jar on to card, then photo copied it on to the mylar.
I made the blue background using a stencil and blue iridescent stamp pad. I think it was an Opalite stamp pad, one of those kind that show up best on black card.
As you can see, Myrtle Snarky has shown up with a 'gift' of a dead fish tucked under her arm!  What better gift than a stinky dead fish?!
Ok, so change of topic here...where is your 'happy place'??  Where/when are you at your happiest?!
For me, it is right here in my art room, on a mild, warm and sunny Winters day.  Dressed oh-so-elegantly in my blue fluffy pajama pants, hair un-brushed (I have long hair so it's very messy unless it's brushed), baggy over sized men's t shirt, wooly socks, and  accompanied by two gorjuss cats who stole my heart, and whom love me to bits and believe (did you notice there's a 'lie' in my belief?!) I am a Goddess with magical powers... sshhh don't tell them the truth!
This is one of my happiest places!
I would love to know where yours is, leave me a comment, go on, I dare you!
Ok, that's me for now, maybe more later...?

Ethel's Strip-o-gram?!

Ok, as promised in my previous post, here is todays card about my mammojam I had yesterday!
As you can see, poor old Ethel thought it was a "strip-o-gram"!
Hmm, there's a BIG difference between the two!
I'll let the card do all the talking today!
Thanks for dropping by, have a SUNSHINE day!  Remember to always be your authentic self, and shine brightly each and every day!

No Moral Compass!

So here's the card I have just made.  I had to type and print the saying because it's not one I have a stamp of.  Imagine that!
Mr. Snarky looks like he's in a bit of trouble, again!  Seems these cats are always doing something they shouldn't.  A bit like naughty children don't you think?!
So I had my head scan the other day. I have requested a copy of the actual scan and that will arrive in a couple of weeks.  I'm curious to see it!
Actually, I'm just plain old curious!  Maybe I'm a Snarky Cat...?
I'm off to the hospital again tomorrow, this time to have a "Mammojam".
You read right, a Mammo-jam, because you get your boobs somewhat  'jammed'!  The things us ladies do for health!
I had a relative pass away from breast cancer, so I get the girls checked every two years.
Oh no, I feel a mammojam Snarky card coming on...watch this space!  I'll have to think about that overnight, and maybe tomorrow while I am getting mammojammed...

Just Shush!

So, what do you do on a cold rainy day??  You watch Nestflix of course!  Which is just what  Mr. Snarky is doing!  I bet he's watching, "The Birds!"
It's a wet miserable day here today, and there was thick fog all morning. Now it's just drizzling rain:-(
Ok, I'm off to get my head scanned at the local hospital now. I think they are looking for my brain!
P.S. Mr. Snarky is Irish today:-)
Thanks for dropping by, have a SUNSHINE day!  Remember to always be your authentic self, and shine bright each and every day!

"It's Not A Competition!"

So here's todays card.  I used a punch for the  umbrella, it's a Stampin' Up! punch.
We have windy days like this here, but not usually with a Snarky cat inside it!  I used a gold ink pad for the gold swooshes on the back ground.  And a few swooshes with an orange ink pad too, I think.
Once again, I didn't really 'think' too much about this card.  The saying was sitting on my desk so that got attached to the card.
Too much 'thinking' does my head in, so I try not to do a lot of it!
I'm going for a brain scan next week (true!) so we'll see how much  brain I actually have, lol!  I know there's some in there...
Thanks for dropping by, have a SUNSHINE day!  Remember to always be your authentic self and shine right each and every day!

Hairball? Orange?

Here is todays card, another Snarky of course!  I was hoping that crafting would keep my hands warm, as it is a cold day:-(
No such luck, my hands are still cold!
Looks like Mr. Snarky is in a bit of trouble, what will he get up to next time...?  Come back again soon to see what he gets up to!
Thanks for dropping by, have a SUNSHINE day! Remember to always be your authentic self, and shine bright each and every day!

The Princess and A Rude Snarky!

Below is a photo I took of my beautiful Princess, "Bella-Rosa".  She was sunning herself on  the top platform on the climbing tree, this is her favourite place.  She gets the sun all day until around 4 pm when the sun goes behind some tall trees.  And as a bonus, she can clearly see the birds on the garage and carport roof!  Of course, they can see her too!

I started this card below, last week.  In my previous post I said how well I was feeling that day...well it didn't last long.  Several hours later (just after mid night) I became very unwell (again) and ended up having to spend some more time back in hospital.  Such is life with an immune system that doesn't work very well:-(
Anyhow, I have managed to finish the card I had started and here he is!  The card has some sparkly things on it, but they aren't showing up on here.  Oh well, I know they are there!
I added some curves to his mouth to make him smile!  A rather mischievous smile I think!  He's up to no good...

Ok, that's me for tonight, I am still feeling a bit worn out from being in hospital, so I think I might have a nice hot cup of tea and then watch something funny on TV! Thanks for dropping by, have a SUNSHINE day!
Remember to always be your authentic self and shine bright each and every day:-)
