All I have done craft wise, lately, is, make some envelopes! For one, it has been so hot and humid that my energy is very low. The second reason is, I am waiting to get my heat pump installed, and because it is going in my 'art room', which is also my dining room, I have had to move stuff out so they can get in to install the heat pump. I have moved 2 desks into my lounge, so if I want to stamp, I have o rummage round and find where things are. The above photo is of some of the envelopes I made. In the photo below, the empty space in the right on the photo is where the 2 desks were, and the heat pump will go on the wall next to the window.

The next photo below is some of my stuff I have moved to the lounge.

Another shot, below, of what's left of my craft room at the moment.
Below is a shot of some of my craft stuff I have moved into the lounge.
The photo below shows more of  stuff form my craft room, that I moved into the lounge room. What you can't see, is, there are things tacked under the the trestle table! OMG it's a mess right now, and finding things is a challenge, or should I say, a nightmare!

The other thing I did recently was to put all my Lavinia Stamps into some drawers, which are on wheels. The stamps took up three drawers, and NO they are not in their themes properly, as yet.

I did have clear plastic inserts between each theme, ie: fairies, tree's, animals, etc, but the inserts were too tall for the drawers. I did cut them down so they fit, but I'm going to do coloured inserts so I can see them easily. Big job and I really don't feel like doing it while it's so hot! You know how it is! On top of that, Lavinia have just released ANOTHER awesome range of their awesome stamps, and I am waiting on my order to arrive!
And here is my 'supervisor' sleeping on the job! It was too hot for him to 'supervise' me moving my craft room  stuff into the lounge! He was surprised when he woke up and discovered the house as he knew it had been re-arranged! H went into the lounge and sniffed the desks I had moved, then went back to sleep!

Visible Image Cards.

I used 2 Visible Image stencils, and 2 different VI stamp sets to make these cards. The Heart stencil is called Heart Ink and the flower one is called Flower Ink. The two sentiment sets are, Create With Your Soul which I stamped on the flower cad below. The second sentiment set is, Happiness matters.

Both sentiment sets give a really clean, bold image when stamped. I use Versa Fine Clair Nocturne black stamp pad on all my stamps. Both stencils come with the negative and the positive, so you get two stencils in one pack. I wish  had access to VI products here in New Zealand, but I couldn't find anyone who stocks them so ended up ordering them from Visible image in the UK.  I wasn't happy with how the heart cad was going, and had almost decided to flip the card over and start again. However, I didn't and decided too carry on and see  how I felt when the card was finished. I really like the card now it's finished! I wish you could see it in reality, because it is so much prettier, and you get a better view of the subtle shading. There are some water splatters on the heart card, but they don't show up well in this photo. And....
I forgot to add them to the flower cad - oops!
There, I've just added them, so if you have good imagination you will be able to see them! I haven't had a lot of experience using stencils, but I did find it lot's of fun, and very absorbing!
Thank you for dropping by, have a SUNSHINE day! Remember to always be your authentic self, and shine bright each and every day!

Oops! I Made Another Bee Card!

Oops!  was a nanosecond away from taking this photo, when the wind blew knocked the card sideways! I was too lazy to re-take the photo, so that's why this card is crooked!  In all honesty, it's way too hot/humid to be doing stamping. But after seeing a similar card on the internet I just had to make one! There's some sparkly Midas Gold Wink of Stella on the Bee Hive stamp, and some clear Kindy Glitz on the Bees wings.
About my dose of Vertigo yesterday, it lasted about three hours, then totally lifted. Feeling ok today, but the humidity is (once again) challenging me.
Ok, thanks for dropping by! Have a SUNSHINE day! Remember to always be your authentic self, and shine bright each and every day!

Another SU Bee My Valentine Card, Plus!

So there I was,  ready to leave the  house to go fruit and vegetable shopping. I got up from my chair and was suddenly hit with another wave of Vertigo. I had gotten up far to quickly and the floor was moving and my balance was wobbly again. This was over and hour ag and I am still not right. So I decided to sit and post these photos I had taken earlier. The Vertigo is slowly leaving me, but I don't feel confident to go out. Bummer!
I added some wobbly legs to the Bee above! Now I know real Bee's have six legs, but honestly, six wobbly legs on this Bee would not have looked right! I may be crazy but I like how the card came out!
These next two photo's were inspired by some cute cards Andrea had made late last year.. (snippetsbyandrea.blogspot.com) I thought her tags were a great idea, and made these! Not sure if I will make them into cards, or maybe hang them on my Christmas tree. They were fun to make!

Ok, that's it for now, I am going to need to lay down until the Vertigo has settled. Hopefully that won't be too long! Thanks for dropping by, have a SUNSHINE day! Remember to always be your authentic self, and shine bright each and every day!

This Is For You.

Have a beautiful day💖

A New Year and New Cards!

Happy New Year! Happy crafting too! These next six cards were made using a Stampin'
Up! stamp and punch set I go recently. I first saw the set before Christmas, but here in NZ it wasn't available to order until January 3rd. I had to wait...counting off the days until I could order it! I fell in love with that oh-so-cute Bee and knew I had to order the suite! It came with some pretty DSP, some pillow boxes to make up, some ribbon and some cute little enamel heart and daisy shaped self adhesive embellishments.
However, I've been of my feet (literally) for the last 8 days.. I was hit with a bad dose of Vertigo. My head was spinning and my balance was not good. Moving my eyes, head or body would make me feel so unbalanced and nauseous. The best thing fore was to rest/sleep on my bed. But even that was a challenge as I felt like I was going to fall off the bed. I made sure to lie in the middle of the bed, so it was not possible for me to fall.
Anyway, I am now feeling better, not quite 100%, but much better than I was. The constant nausea has gone, and I am able to move around ok again. I do need to move slowly though, and if I need to turn to look  vat something, I do it slowly. Vertigo and feeling dizzy are two different things. With Vertigo you feeling like the everything is spinning. Kind of like trying to walk during an earthquake, and you can't balance. Anyway, because of feeling so yuck I wasn't able to play with my new craft things. I made these cards over several days, as I started to feel better. It was a "slow" process, with many "Nana naps" in between! On top of not feeling well, it' extremely humid. I love the (dry) heat, but the humidity just knocks me out.
These 2 cards are mini ones I made using scraps of card that were sitting on my desk.
I stamped the white card (below) using some of the floral stamps from the Bee My Valentine" stamp set, using different coloured ink pads. The Bee's wings are made from vellum, with card stock underneath.

The card below is the fist card I made with the new stamps. I wasn't quite well at the time, still dealing with the Vertigo and constant nausea, and ooops, I forgot the Bee's little Antennae! There's some cute Valentines word stamps included in the stamp set.
Yes, this card below, is a Lavinia Stamps card I made before Christmas - before the Vertigo hit. I coloured the house - "Bella's House" using my new Mondeluz pencils. I am not all that good with them and have a lot to learn.
The moon was done using a circle mask and yellow ink  brushed on with a stencil brush.
Ok, I really have to end this here, my attention span is not good at the moment, and I have made SO many mistakes while typing this. My brain is fried!
