A Stack of Snarky's!

This is my very first card I made using my Brother Scan N Cut Machine, that I got for Valentines Day! The card measures 8 3/4 inches in height, and  3 1/4 inches wide.  I stamped and masked the four images onto a piece of white card. Then I cut it out using my Brother Scan N cut machine.  To make sure the fine lines, such as on their whiskers, ears etc don't get cut off (because they are quite fine) I learned how to draw a light pencil line across them before cutting with the BSCNC.
Once the image is cut out, I just erased the pencil lines.
Above is a close up of the top cat, balancing precariously on top of the other two cats and a pumpkin!  (The things cats do!)
Above and below are closeup's of the center cat, and then the bottom cat perched on his pumpkin.  I used my Copics to colour each cat, and added some diamond glitter.  The pumpkin has some chunky orange glitter around the bottom of it. I randomly stamped the white 'bubbles' around the edges of the card.  I had already sprayed the edge with gold and blue sparkly spray.  (Dylusions I think.)
The cats eyes have some clear Nuvo Crystal Drops on to give them some dimension. As soon as I had stamped the images I knew exactly what sentiment I wanted to add to the card.  Not having a stamp that said what I wanted, I printed it out on to white card and then stuck it on to black card. Each word has sponge tape underneath it to give it some height.  This was a really fun card to make, and tested my knowledge on using my Scan N Cut Machine!  I can't wait to make more cards like this!
Thanks for dropping by, have a SUNSHINE day!  Remember, always be your authentic self, every single day!

Shades of Winter

This is a card I made yesterday, the tree is a "Nellies Choice" stamp.  This is the first time I have used it.  To make the hills, water and sky, I brushed on different colours of ink pads, using brushes.  I had a firm piece of plastic which I held on an angle each time I brushed the ink on.  The green is the hills, the blue is the water (hold the plastic horizontal, not on an angle) and the sky is the pink and yellow.  I used a circle stencil I had made for the sun, making sure I didn't get any yellow in on the 'water'.  I lastly added the tree stamp and the words, which are from an SU stamp set.  I like how it came out and think I will make some more like this!
Below is..."Audrey," a new addition to the family!  I bought the glass at my local Hospice Shop, and knew she was destined to have a "String of Pearls" plant in her!!  Eventually the SOP will hang down and look like her hair!  Isn't she wild?! I love her!
With it being Summer here, it's the perfect time to re-pot my cactus and succulents, as well as digging out my Spring bulbs, and resting them over Winter.  I will re-plant them before Spring.  I've been in the garden doing things for the last 2 weeks, and my allergies don't appreciate it:-(  My nose is blocked and I sneeze all the time, but I am enjoying my time outside! I have lots of allergies and take Antihistamine every day, and I really ought to be wearing a mask while I am out digging in the garden.  Anyway, that's me for today!
I hope you enjoyed your visit - have a SUNSHINE day!
Remember, always be your authentic self and shine bright every single day!
