Note-Book

In spite of having been in hospital again, and not feeling too well, I did manage to sit at my desk one night & make this cute notebook!
I already had the cover made some time ago, but hadn't made it into anything. It was going to be a card, but somehow it got made into this notebook! The notebook was the grand sum of .50 cents, so it was really cheap!
I used some Bazzill cardstock (my all time fave card!) & just covered the back of the notebook with it, then put the decorated bit on the front. Gee, it was EASY! Oh yes, and quick:-) Oh yes, after I took this photo, I added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter from Stampin Up. After thoughts are great...!
Thanks for visiting; have a great weekend - it's Queens Birthday Weekend here, so Monday is a holiday.
{{HUGS}} from me to YOU:-)

What's This?!

Ok, so the "colour fairy" has fluffed the colours on here...it SHOULD be showing up as lime green not washed out peppermint green! :-( And the ice block stick is bright red! True!
Anyway, this is a note book I made into a lollipop! I found the notebook for $1 & knew I could make it into a lollipop! The notebook is actually a sort of light bulb shape & it had a wire hook with beads on it when I bought it. I took the wire hook off & cut 2 scallop circles with my nesties then run them through one of my cb embossing folders. I stuck these onto the cover, taping the iceblock stick underneath so you can't see it. The red bow was already on the notebook so I took it off & re-glued it to the front. For $1 it turned into a nice Xmas gift! The pages in the notebook have little red hearts printed on them. This & the calendar below, was my lot for the day! Thanks for dropping by & have a great weekend - we had an awesome sunny & hot day today - I think Winter has truly GONE at last!!

Mermaid Notebook

I covered a hardcover notebook with this gorgeous aqua & blue hand made paper - it has sparkly silver waves through it! The mermaid stamp is from Inkadinkado. The aqua watercolour paper shape behind the mermaid was an "accident"! It was a piece of scrap paper which I had used when I was sponging a card. I spilled some water on it (accidentally!) & got this fabulous result! So I carefully cut around it & layered it underneath the mermaid! I coloured her & then covered her with Jac paper & cut around her. I then sprinkled very fine crystal glitter over the top of her. She truly "sparkles"! I love this stamp & must stamp her more!
