Circle Cards

I made these cards using my circle nesties. They open at the top of the card. They are quick and easy to make, as well as being fun!
I first cut out the folded circle (scallop) then cut out another scallop circle the same size. I glued this circle to the folded circle card. Then I stamped in the middle of the card & coloured it in. I cut out the plain circle then cut out the center of the card so the stamped image shows through. This plain circle is stuck to the card using sponge tape to give it some height. It SOUNDS complicated, but honestly, it isn't! Believe me, I don't like making complicated cards, I prefer "easy-peasy", it keeps my sanity intact!! The last thing I did was to add the embellishments.
Ok that's it from me for tonight! Have a great weekend and thanks for visiting! {{HUGS}} from me to YOU:-)

Last Week's Cards

On all of these cards I have used my Spellbinder dies. The last card also has a Martha Stewart punch for the lace border.
I am still running round on a flat battery so I'm not writing much here!
Thanks for visiting, {{HUGS}} from me to you:-)

It's All About Love!

Ok, this card is for a contest that Bizzybecs is holding. The words are on the inside of the card & are a stamp from D.J Inkers. I have made the white hat from circles cut out using my nesties. I cut the largest one first & run it through my Swiss Dots cuttlebug embossing folder. The smaller circles I stacked together using sponge tape, to give it height. I also used the Swiss Dots folder on the top circle of the hat. I then added some paper flowers to the hat & put a stick on pearl on the center of each flower. The head, hands & feet stamps are a set from Annette Allen Watkins & the stamp is called "Sarah Jane". I cut her legs in half & added sponge tape twice to the left hand foot to make it appear that her foot is over the right one. The head & hands are stuck on with sponge tape also. I added small bows & pom-poms to her hair. I layered the white card onto some lavendar Bazzil card, then finally onto some pink Bazzill card. I used one of my EK Success corner punches for the fancy corners & folded them back as shown. I added some Kindyglitz & gold cord as shown.

I cut out a scallop circle of net material which I stuck underneath the hat before sticking it to the white card. Lot's of work but also lot's of fun! Hope you enjoy it!
Thanks for visiting, see you soon!:-) The card measures 5x6 1/2 inches.

Embossed Butterfly

Oh heck! I forgot to crop this before posting it :-( Bit late now! The blue star background is actually part of an envelope that had a Christmas card in it. It was so pretty I just had to "save" it! I cut the flower shape & the scallop circle using my nesties. The butterfly shape is a cuttlebug die which is also embossed. I added some Kindyglitz to the daisy & butterfly. There are also some very tiny gems which are not easy to see on here.

Christmas Baubles!

I used some of my new nesties to cut out this card. (It opens from the top) Using my snowman cuttlebug die & folder, I punched out the baubles etc then embossed them. I added some bows & some KindyGlitz & that was it! I wasn't sure whether or not to add some string for the baubles, the jury is still out on that one! This card was easy & quick to make & fun! Thanks for visiting & have a great week!

Girl In Pink

I used my Fiskars circle punch to punch out the dark silver circle. I then used a plain circle nestie to cut out the centre of it. I used a scallop nestie for the pale silver scallop circle. On a white piece of scrap card I stamped the girl image & then used a plain circle nestie to cut it out to fit inside the dark silver circle. I used my copics to colour the image. I put the circles together & adhered them to the card with sponge tape. I put the blue ribbon across the card first. I added two pale silver flowers (using a punch) & put a blue flower gem on top. Lastly I added the gold corners & lines around the card - both are stickers.

Girl In Blue

After doing the laundry, posting the mail, grocery shopping & a visit to the physio for my hip, I still had time to make these two cards! (see post below for 2nd card) I did well today! Been trying out my latest nesties, they are so much fun!
Thanks for visiting & have a great week & a great Christmas! This card & the one below (Wintergirl) were inspired by cards I saw on Becs blog, make sure you pop across & have a look, she has some awesome card idea's!! And check out her online shop, it is amazing!! I buy all my nesties from here, her prices are great too! www.bizzybecscardmakingscrapbooking.com.au Thanks for the inspiration Bec! PS Bec has some great competitions going right now...don't miss out!!

Wintergirl

I used my nesties to cut out the two shapes (white & burgundy) then stamped the girl, masked her & then stamped the tree's behind her. I used my copics to colour the whole card. I lightly sponged the sky in blue. I added some brads to the corners. I used my cuttlebug die for the big snowflake. It is cut from a sparkly sort of fibre material/paper. Much prettier IRL! I used one of my cuttlebug embossing folders for the dots (in green) behind the girl. It's not the Swiss Dots one, this one has bigger dots & comes with a die with baby words on. A fun card to make!

Playful Snowman

I made this card using my nesties - Labels Two. The snowflakes were cut out using my Cricut. I found 2 small red buttons & some even smaller white buttons that are on 3 of the snowflakes! A quick card to make:-)

This is middle/bottom part of the mobile I made. I used my new shape-abilities (Like nesties). These are so easy & fun to use! I threaded some clear plastic thread through the top & bottom of each flower shape to hang it. It's now hanging on my doorway in the kitchen where I can see it often! They would make great presents to post because they are so light & wouldn't cost alot!
Hope you are all having a great weekend - I am! The weather is just gorgeous, sunny & very warm! Thanks for visiting! Hugs from Sunshine!

Mobile

This is the top half of my hanging mobile thing I made using the shapeabilities I just got. SO easy to make!

Squirrels & Bunnies For Christmas!

Well! I am back at the stamp desk again & have made these 3 cute cards today! My new nesties got a bit of a work-out too! This is just one of the new sets I got. I added some chunky glitter with stars in to the snow flakes. Looks better IRL!
Got to go & try out my other nesties now! Thanks for visiting & enjoy the rest of your day!

Squirrel & Bunny Christmas Card

My very dear friend Rosy gave me this cute Christmas stamp a few years ago & I just love it! She knows I am 'nuts' about squirrels! (Thank you Rosy!)This was an easy & quick card to make, just used the nesties for the shapes. They are seriously fun to use!

Penguin Christmas Card

Well here's the first card made with my new nesties that just arrived! Are they fun or what?!
They are so cool to use, I love them already!
I just used scraps of card for these, as they are not too big.
Thanks for visiting & hope you are having a great weekend! We are into Sunday downunder!

Cup Cake Day!

The colours on here are MUCH brighter than they are showing :-( The yellow is very bright & the pink is even brighter! I used some Dimensional Magic on the icing (after colouring it) & then poured some REAL 100's & 1,000's onto it! (Lucky the ants didn't find it!) I put some paper flowers in one corner & added some ribbon with stars on to the bottom. I used my circle nesties to cut out the scallop shape.

Cute Card!

Here is the open (left) and closed (top) version of this little scallop card. I cut out a large scallop shape using my nesties, then adjusted a square piece of card (the dark brown card) to fit behind it. I scored a small section of the scallop so the card would open easier & added 2 brass coloured brads to hold the card together. I added some flowers & gems & a few dots of kindy glitz. On the inside of the card I stuck a small square of pink card & stamped some words (Stamps by Judith) on it. Not alot of work but very cute & would make great invitations for kids parties! Or anything for that matter!

Penguin Hula Girl!

Hmmm, I really DO have gremlins in this scanner! The colours on here should be BRIGHT pink, BRIGHT purple & BRIGHT aqua!! Really, believe me!
I used different nesties, circles & square for this card & a piece of purple card that I had cut out in a wavy shape & run through my cb Swirls eb folder. It just so happened that I "found" that scrap of card while looking for something else. (Which I never did find!) I also added some kindy glitz & some sparkly stick on diamonds & the card was done!
I only made one card today, I spent the rest of my time (well, alot of it!) looking for a place where I bought some cheap card in bulk, a couple of years ago. I finally found the address, much to my joy! Now I can order more! If anyone (particularly in NZ) is interested, it is called Timbrel Paper Products & they are in Upper Hutt City Wellington. They are on the Internet, just google their address.

Penguin Boy

Oh dear! My clear diamond gems look BLACK on this card! I can assure you they are not black but clear& very sparkly!
Once again I used my circle nesties to make the various circles. The yellow & green are bright colours but his doesn't show up on here :-(
I used some a scrap of background paper & added two white daisy things, one to either side.
The penguin (ktcrafts) has kindy glitz on him too. That's about all I did for this card!
Thanks for visiting, see you next time!

Almost Summer?!

Ooops! This red card is actually bright orange!! All the colours on this card are very bright in reality!
I stamped the penguin (from ktcrafts) & then masked him & airbrushed the blue around him with one of my copics. I then used the blender copic to put small white 'dots' on the blue background - it sucks up the colour so you get white spots. Not easy to see on here. I used my square nesties & swiss dots cb eb folder for the lime green strip of card. I coloured & glittered the penguin & he was finished!

Circles & Flowers

I used my nesties to cut out the different sized circles on here. I used lilac, white & black card for these. I stamped different small flower heads onto the white card them lightly sponged or used my copics to colour them. I added a paper flower to the center when I had finished & also added white dots to the black card. I layered the circles onto some lilac & silver ribbon. lastly I put some lilac (even though they LOOK silver!) brads in each corner of the pink card. Thanks for visiting & come back soon!
