Romeo-Valentino" - He's A Basket Case!

The photo of "Romeo-Valentino" on the table with his legs in the air was taken just as I finished a Reiki session with him! He LOVES it and this is his usual position! Nothing is 'private' with him! He goes all floppy & silly when I give him Reiki (which he enjoys almost every day) and just lays there until he's had enough! One day the phone rang while he was having Reiki & he looked at me as if to say, "You're not actually going to ANSWER that, are you!" I did and he was most un-impressed!
The other photo is of him in the (CLEAN) washing basket! Thus is what happens when you are busy making cards and are oblivious to everything but card, paper & glitter!
Moral of the story?...don't leave the clean washing in the laundry basket...put it away! Thanks for looking...{{HUGS}} from me to YOU:-)

"It Wasn't Me, I Didn't Do It, I Know Nothing!"

This is a very innocent looking "Ro-Ro"! Here's what happened next... I had two large heavy drapes hanging over my washing frame. I was on the phone at the time & "Ro-Ro" decided to climb the drapes. The washing frame collapsed trapping him inside the frame & inside the drapes. Hilarious! By the time I had grabbed the camera & explained to my friend what I was lauging at, he had managed to escape & sit on the drapes. He is a constant source of entertainment! Love the question mark his tail is making! Looks like he is saying...What The??!
And no, he hasn't learnt his lesson, he's still trying to climb the washing frame, even though it is bent out of shape...Santa, I need a new one, please!

Guess What?!

"Romeo-Valentino", that's him in the post below with the pink umbrella haning off his foot, and sitting under the "Sexy GIRL" sign..sighhh; my cute black & white cat (shhhh, HE doesn't think he's a cat..) has just had his photo published in the 2012 RSPCA calendar!! We got a free copy in the mail! Oh Lord! Does that mean he will be out at the local shopping malls signing (p)aw-tographs?!! Heaven help me!
Having been published a couple of times already, he now believes he is famous...
Oh yes, I have some cards to post but seeing as it is getting late-ish, I will do them tomorrow..or some other time!

Paw Prints

No! It's NOT "Big Foot" it's "Bella-Rosa's" paw prints...in the mud! She had walked across a muddy patch on the front path one day! They looked so cute (even if they were in the muddiest patch around!)that I had to take a photo of them!
When she came inside all four feet were covered in mud - and she seemed to have enjoyed it!

"Planking", Cat Style!

A couple of troublemakers lying on top of the oil heater one night! They both LOVE it and when one gets off the other gets on! "Ro-Ro" tried to get up while "Bella" was lying on it but there wasn't enough room! He got his ears boxed for his efforts!
Cat's knew about "planking" long before humans even thought of it!

"Oh So Cute!"

In one photo, he has his chin on an old scarf of mine that he likes. He looks very innocent, but read the post below this!
The other photo is of him upside down under the bed one day! I was hanging off the end of the bed & I too was upside down, which gives the photo an odd look! Just who is upside down is hard to say!

The New Scratching Post Is A Hit!

"Romeo-Valentino" conquers the new, and VERY tall, scratching post!
Both him & "Bella-Rosa" love it; it's very solid (I have to drag it to move it as it is so heavy!) and will not tip over when they climb up it...as "Romeo-Valentino" demonstrates!

Bella-Rosa In The Garden

This is Bella-Rosa in the garden, not that you can see the garden! She had been rolling on the terrace & when she sat up there were all these tiny white petals from some flower all over her!

Yes, well, the owl & the pussycat is right! The Santa owl is made using my SU punch, I had fun making this!
The spooky looking cat is "Romeo-Valentino" hiding under a piece of gauze like material. His eyes caught the flash & made him look scary!

Wash Day!

I just thought this was a funny/cute photo of "Romeo-Valentino" washing his foot! His little pink tongue is kind of curled in half - not so easy to see on this photo. He's a busy bloke!

"Bella-Rosa" gets a smooch from Mr. Frog..but will he turn into a Handsome Prince, she asks?! I made Mr. Frog some years ago & he is stuffed with un-cooked rice! He's a good paper weight!

Mommies Little Hero!

This photo has two stories attached to it. First of all, "Romeo-Valentino" is sitting on my trestle table that has all my "tools-of-the-trade" on it. I have to cover it with a fitted sheet every night otherwise yours truly gets up on the table & "steals" things, such as bits of card, stencils, dies, basically anything he can manage to grab hold of! I was finding stuff all over the floor every morning & beginning to wonder if I had been "sleep crafting" in my sleep?! I also cover the table when I go out, that way I know things will still be in their right place when I get home! But seriously, doesn't he look cute up there..not to mention innocent?! (Love those laser beam eyes!)

Ok, the second story is a bit more serious, but none the less cute:-)

I haven't been too well for awhile & last week after getting out of the shower & getting dressed, I collapsed on the floor & was semi conscious. (No injuries but!) I wear a medical alarm as I have some resonably serious medical conditions so I pressed the alarm for medical help. I was unable to get up off the floor as I felt extremely dizzy & lightheaded & was not really with it. "Romeo-Valentino" came running over to where I was lying on the floor & began to lick my face & hand. He kept this up for at least 15 minutes, not stopping until the ambulance arrived & the medics were inside the house.

Eventually I was able to get up off the floor - my blood pressure had dropped rapidy which is why I fainted. Once "Romeo-Valentino" saw I was in good hands, he sat under the table & just watched.

At the time I didn't think much of it but later that night as I felt better and my head cleared a bit, I thought about it & I honestly believe he was licking my face & hand to make sure I stayed awake! He wasn't playing as he will bite & scratch (carefully!) when he does that. I have known dogs to do this but not cats - has anyone else had a similar experience with cats? I'd love to hear about it! A friend of mine who lives in Sydney has had a similar experience with her cat. Since then he follows me literally everywhere around the house & comes into the bedroom at night & sleeps by the door, something he has started doing since I had the fall. So now I call him my little hero!

Anyway, I hope you weeknd is going well, us Kiwi's & Aussies are celebrating ANZAC Day tomorrow. Ooops, make that today..it's 1.30 am Sunday here. Thanks for visiting, {{HUGS}} from me to you:-)

Mommy's 'Lil Bloke!

..no head no body just legs, er, paws! Ro-Ro was lying on his back with his front paws in the air so I took his photo! He often sleeps on his back, especially when he sleeps in his baby sling...
...and here he is peering over the top of my bookcase he was sleeping on! He likes being up high! You can see his wobbly heart shape under his chin!

Paper Work..

..."Someone" in this house does alot of "paperwork"! "Someone" has a toilet paper fetish & it is getting expensive!! Whoever did it was very silent & quiet about un-rolling (another) whole toilet roll! I was only one room away I never heard a thing! For the followers of my "Litter Kwitter" toilet training, you will know this is the second time this has occurred. I have my suspicions, but that's all they are, suspicions! I heard nothing I saw nothing! I have learnt (finally!) to keep the toilet rolls as far away from the toilet as possible...maybe even put them in another room?? I said two words when I saw this..."What the..??" Both Purrito's had that choir boy/girl innocence written all over their faces, in fact, both of them were sound asleep so it was very hard to tell "Who Done It.." Toilet paper is now on the top of my shopping list...more good rubber stamp money down the toilet..literally!!

The Two Purrito's...

Top photo is "Ro-Ro" playing in a box, he was full of mischief & ready for a game when I took this! Second photo is "Bella-Rosa" playing "Santa Claws"! I can't say she was thrilled about wearing the hat, but she did let me take a few snaps! However she was not happy about having the elastic under her chin so we just sat the hat on her head without it! I mean, come on, there's only so much a cat will put up with!

Ai Only Haz Aiz For YOO!

My gorjuss 'lil bloke, as I call him, "Ro-Ro"! He is inside my purple back pack that I was (trying to) pack ready to go to a stamp class! He thought if he could fit in the bag he could come with me! Should I change his name to "Stampin'-Paws"?! {{HUGS}} from us to you:-)
