More Cup-Cakes...and A Dress!

Ok, so I LOVE cup-cakes, in case I forgot to mention it??! I love baking them, eating them & stamping them! I'll take them any way I can! I stamped & masked the cupcake & stuck the middle one onto the card using sponge tape. I coloured them using my copics & added kindy glitz & some dimensional magic to the icing. Yummm, I could just EAT these!!
For the other card I stamped the corset onto white card & coloured it lightly. I then hand drew the skirt bit onto "jac" paper, cut it out & stuck it to the bodice and white card. I cut around the bodice & petticoat. Then, after peeling the top layer off the "jac" paper, I sprinkled on some gold Interference powder. These are usually best on dark coloured card as they show up better. But using it over white card it gives the appearance of being a sheer petticoat! Cool fun huh! I like the effect you can do this over almost any stamp. Stars or moon or even the sun would all look great! Have a go! Thanks for visiting & I hope you are having a great weekend:-)

Cup-Cake

This is a new cup-cake stamp from Montarga.
I LOVE cup-cakes, real or rubber or any other kind!!!

New Cards!

Ok, so here are some of my new cards I have made over the last week. I went to SENZ last Sunday (thank you Helen Q!) & some of these are made using my new stamps. This t-shirt card is copied from one I saw on Lorraine's blog - Paper Vernissage, she is so talented, be sure to check out her blog!
The ice-cream is also cased from her blog. She has the instructions for both! The little Japanese lady was made using "jac" paper, that sticky-both-sides clear plastic stuff. After adhering it over top of the lady I then sprinkled micro-fine glitter all over it. You can rub it & the glitter stays on the card! Cool huh! The background was sponged with different colours using a square sponge dabber.
I've been trying to keep my mind occupied by making cards - I've had good days & not so good days but I'm getting there:-) Thanks for visiting!

What A Hoot!

This owl stamp is from Rubbadubbadoo. I stamped him on white gloss card & coloured him with my copics. I then cut the circle out using my nesties, then coloured it yellow. I cut another circle in green & finally a black scallop circle & glued them all together. I put this onto some new card I have, it is sort of soft glittery stuff on it & is just gorgeous! More so IRL! I then stuck this to a cream coloured piece of card & added the green eyelets. I glittered the owl to match the glitter card. I aslo added some tiny feathers to his tail. A cute stamp to use! Thanks fro visiting:-)

A Whole Bunch of Cards!

Ok, so here are the cards I made about 2 1/2 weeks ago but never got round to uploading until now. This "book" card has 2 layers of pages. Hard to see on here.
The little paper butterflies on some of the cards were made using a die from Kalsbeek, it cuts out 3 different sizes & you just fold them in the middle to form the butterflies. They are SO easy to make:-) The Santa stamps with the swinging stars is from Rubbadubbadoo. So is the book stamp. The first card on here is made using the Dahlia nestabilities - so much fun! The center of the card was emmbossed with these new irridescent embossing powders. Not sure what they're called but will blog it later if I find out! Thanks for visiting today, enjoy your weekend:-)

Mum, I Love You...

Y I am feeling very sad right now, my mum passed away very suddenly & totally unexpectedly a week ago today & I don't feel that I can do any art work right now. I do have cards I made before this happened but I don't think I can post them right now. My head is in a fog & everything feels surreal. It has been a tough week & I am exhausted & confused. Sleep hasn't come easy but crying does.

When things start to feel normal (what is 'normal'??) again I will be back. In the meantime, thank you to those who have recently left comments on my blog, glad you like my cards! And please don't give up on me 'cause I will be back, one day! Thanks...

Potted Tree

This a a Hero Arts stamp. I stamped it on white card then cut out a pink "pot" to fit over the stamped pot bit. I also stamped & cut out the leaves (in green) & stuck these over the stamped leaves. I tied a piece of string in a knot & stuck it to the pot. Lastly I added the paper flowers which I punched out using small flower punches. This card was fun to make! I also added some eyelets to the side of the red card.
Thanks for visiting today!
