A Crap Week.

It's been a rough time for me.  In the past 12 days I've been to the Doctor four times, seen my Specialist and ended up very unwell in hospital with a sinus infection.  It doesn't want to go away😝.  On top of this my blood pressure shot up to over 200/93, way too high.  Turns out it was due to ongoing stress I've had.  I was also running a high temperature.

I am back home now, recovering slowly.  All this because someone came into  my home who was not well and did not bother to tell me.  Because my immune system is so vulnerable any infections make me very unwell and put me in hospital.

On Friday I get up around 7 am, turn on the kitchen light to make a cup of tea.  I was about to cross the floor to get the milk out of the fridge but something stopped me.  As I stood there, I hear a loud CRACK sound, the light goes out, I briefly see sparks, then the light comes back on.  I look up ad see the fluorescent light literally hanging from the ceiling by a couple of wires!  Not knowing if they were live or not, I immediately call the Fire Brigade.  Then I leave the house for safety reasons.  The Fire Brigade arrive and check everything out, no live wires or anything dangerous.  They remove the light and tell me to call the Electrician who installed the light. (Less than 2 years ago) Luckily he was able to come and he re-installed the light with no charge to me.  Ok Universe, I think I have had enough stress for now, please give me a break!

Below is a photo of the light.  Had I walked across the floor to the fridge as I was going to, I would have been hit in the head/face and no doubt sustained some serious injuries.  My Angels were looking out for me that day😀.

No cards today, but they are coming...
Thanks for dropping by, have a SUNSHINE Day!  Remember to always be your authentic self, and shine bright each and every day!

  1. I'm so sorry that you had such inconsiderate guests. My grandson still has some lasting effects from a virus he got as an infant much the same way you got sick. So glad that you didn't get whacked with that light and there wasn't more damage.
