These are the Christmas cards I made last Sunday!
There are four cards stamped in dark green ink, and four done in light green ink. Each card measures 11/1/2 cms square.
I stamped four ginger bread men cards, then changed to the reindeer die cuts, below. There are five of the reindeer cards. I used a small reindeer die to make them.
Above are the envelopes for the cards. I had bought them for a a couple of dollars from the Hospice Shop. When I post the cards in these envelopes, I will use a die cut circle of adhesive card in the center of the folds, to make sure the envelopes stay closed during posting. These cads were fun to make, but painful as my thumbs were really sore. But I persevered and even though it took me most of the day, I got them finished:-)
This pocket and card above is one of about 15 I have made so far. In the front of the new SU catalogue you can see pockets like these with a binder and other bits. I liked the idea so decided to make my own! I have a binder the right size so didn't need to buy anything.
Above is the pocket with the card that goes inside. To cut the white card, I used a punch from We R Memory Keepers. It's a BIG HEAVY punch and to get it to punch the card I have to stand on it!! I just don't have the strength to use my hands. I used double sided paper from Stampin' Up! for each pocket. Having run out of SU DSP I am now looking to buy some other paper I can use. I have plenty of paper but it isn't double sided:-( Typical!
Thanks for dropping by, {HUGS} from me to YOU:-)
