This apricot coloured card didn't photograph well:-( The card is a SU one and IRL is a pretty apricot colour, unlike the photo!!
Here's the tree, with Autumn coloured Flower Soft on it. I did lightly stamp some small dots and bubbles before I put the Flower Soft on top. Before send the card I will lightly spray it with hair spray to stop the FS coming off.
Below is the SU stamp set the tree is from.
This is a small black cat I am making! He is not quite finished as I have run out of black thread:-( He needs stuffing and stitching together then he's done!
Below is a close up of one of two dinner size glass plates I got FREE from the local church Op Shop! They were on a table marked "FREE". They werte a bit challenging to photograph, so I ended up taking a close up so you can see the pattern of leaves and fishes. They appeared to be brand new.
I have not done much stamping lately as it has been cold and wet:-( (Have I mentioned how much I hate Winter?!) My hands get very cold and I can't do anything. And I think I may have slightly lost my motivation, which I put down to it being so cold, wet and dark during the day. I need daylight!! I'm off to SENZ (Scrapbooking Expo New Zealand) next week and I am hoping to get inspired by all the great craft things there!
Thanks for dropping by, have a great weekend and come back soon! {HUGS} from me to YOU:-)
I'm having a hard time getting the colors right on my pictures lately too! I love the autumn colors though. And that cute birdie background. I didn't know the hairspray trick and now I'm happy that I picked the hairspray giveaway at my hairdresser's today (it was customer appreciation day and they gave you a choice of hairspray or shampoo, and truthfully I didn't really want either because I have sensitivities to fragrances). I love those plates with the fish. Great find. Hope things dry out and warm up a little for you. Happy shopping at the expo.
ReplyDeletePretty plates lucky you! Hey its supposed to be summer here but we have had nothing but rain for a few weeks now. xx
